I ordered this because I was wanting a cute decoration that added some sound ambience to my Halloween decor. It plays a series of spooky noises on a nicely blended long loop, so I wasn't sure when it restarted until I recognized a sequence repeating itself. They're that perfect balance between creepy and cheesy. Just enough that most people will grin, but still feel a touch uneasy from the sounds.The decoration itself came undamaged and is very cute. The light slowly shifts between different colors, looking quite creepy when it's red.There are two "on" settings, one of which is just the lights and the other is both lights and sound.It takes 3 AA batteries, and it does feel quite fragile. I would not leave this where young/careless kids can encounter it. I will probably place it just inside my home for trick-or-treaters to enjoy when we go take our own trick-or-treaters out. It'd be great outside if I could sit and monitor it, but that's not my plan for the evening.Love this decoration for Halloween!

This is a nice resin Halloween decoration. The piece will light up and play sounds with 3AA batteries installed. The lights change colors on a rotating basis. The sounds it plays are spooky ghostly sounds, cackles and eerie. It looks nice all on it's own not lit up too. I'm pleased with this piece. It's a great addition to my holiday decor.
