This thing is extremely hard to take off without breaking your quest. Way too rigid. I get it, its cheaper than the rest, but your quest is much more expensive to risk it.

For me, the best Halo head mount I have ever used is on the PSVR. The forehead pad is large and forehead shaped and solidly supports that heavy headset. With that in mind, there is nothing really this good in the Quest 3 space, but this KKCOBVR unit does quite well. Being able to move the headset in & out allows reducing the pressure from the headset on the face, which is probably the 2nd most annoying stressor of the stock straps. The only issue I have with this unit is the strap at the back to "cup" the back of the head goes down a bit too much and when looking up toward the ceiling, it pushes upward sliding the unit up on the head, kind of like taking a hat off from the back. This aside, I would recommend this strap.

It appears the front to rear Velcro head strap should offer more support than it did but unfortunately that was not the case.Overall, this is a functional halo strap but it may not work without the Quest 3 facial foam interface removed, or at least it did not for me. If you do not intend to remove the foam facial interface then this is decent option for the asking price.I will report back if the longevity of the product comes into question or a premature failure occurs

Let me start off with the obvious thing: When I first got this I wasn’t sure if it was for quest 2 or 3. The “2-in-1” in the title was rather misleading given that the “quest 3” part is at the end where it gets cut off during searches. But more than that… I’m still not sure what “2-in-1” is supposed to mean for this thing. It’s a head strap for quest 3. What else does it do? What this really means is there are 2 STYLES that it can work in… that are honestly not that different and shouldn’t be called “2-in-1” in my opinion.OK, that out of the way let’s talk about it’s actual functionality. I personally found it somewhat uncomfortable. Adjusting the tension leads to LOUD clicking RIGHT in my ears which is both annoying AND breaks my VR immersion even more than the discomfort. Additionally: one of the adjustment methods requires you to twist 2 knobs ad the same time or risk having lopsided tension. My other big complaint is the front head strap in “halo style” being in the position it is. When the front strap is in a comfortable position for my head, the headset itself cannot sit flush with my face. I either have to deal with light coming in from the side which is distracting from the experience, OR I have to fidget with the knobs to get the headset around the front strap at which point it sits uncomfortably on my head. Now this is not going to be a universal experience, as I’m told I have a somewhat large head, but it was a problem for me and could be for others as well. After a couple weeks, I had my wife try it as well and she seems to have no issues with where the strap sits for her, but she also does not like the clicking of the knobs. So, is it more comfortable that the original strap? Absolutely. Is it worth the frustration of trying to find it JUST right to my head? Honestly, no. Not for me. Could it be fore you? Maybe. Buy this with low expectations and hopefully you’ll be surprised.

This halo design is far superior to the factory design. The headstrap is very comfortable, easy to adjust, and holds up well to long gaming sessions. My kids and I all love it. The price is right too.
