The ribbon was frayed when it was delivered. I had to tape it w/ packing tape to keep it from ripping through. I also thought this was a hummingbird house. It looks too big for a hummer.

This straw birdhouse will shed over time and create nooses. Came home one day to find my parrot barley alive strangled by the neck because of this birdhouse.

This item was a little bit larger than what I expected but is very sturdy. Took a while for the birds to get used to it but now they go in and out of it

Four finches are happily making more finches, so I assume they like it too. I had to put one of the perches under the nest to hold it in place, as there is only a single, narrow ribbon to tie to the cage, but with that done, it has stayed put. It looks fine, and as I said, the birds seem to like it.

My tortoise was obsessed with sleeping in the small wicker basket and since she’s getting bigger and was getting stuck I was due for an upgrade. I was worried if it’ll be small but no it’s big and perfect and she has a new basket to grow into. I love it.

Much larger than I thought. I bought it for my one zebra finch. Pretty huge for her. But, well made, and sturdy. It would be great for parakeet or lovebird, or Parrotlet sized birds. I will still keep it, hoping my bird will eventually go inside it.
