This handmade manual coffee grinder from Istanbul, Turkey is designed from brass with steel burrs for an adjustable hand crank operation. Our handcrafted, elegant and sturdy manual coffee bean grinder allows you to grind ultra fine Turkish coffee with the finest brass and a gold color finish. This grinder is adjustable to enable the full range of coffee bean grinding from the coarsest grind used for French press to the finest powdery grind required for Turkish Coffee and espresso, and everything in between. With a detachable handle that is also used for adjusting the grind, this portable grinder is easy to assemble, and easy to adjust to finetune for your desired grind of coffee.

I give this coffee grinder five stars, because it works precisely as it should, and better than others in my collection.Aesthetically it's very good too, but it rates so highly with me because it's easy to use and achieves a perfect grind for my brewing method and does so consistently. I believe this is my new favorite.I would certainly recommend buying this grinder, assuming you are in the market for a traditional, manual coffee grinder such as this. It really is a very good choice. The Sözen brand is well known and well respected for the above reasons.

Thought I was getting a lifetime grinder since it has no fancy features just powder grind for turkish style stove top coffee. Stopped working in under 2 months / ~15 grinds tops. It sits uneven at the base, machined poorly. When you grind the movement or vibration makes the top portion bean hooper separate from the bottom collection portion so you have to hold it awkwardly and uncomfortably together. There's nothing to clean and the grinder doesn't come apart to fix. I believe the seller is selling defectives or 2nd's. Had no clue I had to manically test the product 10 dozen times the first week. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS MONEY OR PATIENCE.

for the best Turkish style coffee, the coffee must be ground to a fine powder. This grinder produces just the right consistency! It's a small unit, so makes enough for just one pot. It's not the fastest but the results are most important.

Gave this to my son as a Christmas gift. He loves it! Beautifully made with excellent craftsman ship. It's fully adjustable on the type of gring you want. Easy to grind even on the finest setting. Packs up and stores away nicely. Consistent grinding, not stop and go while turning the handle. Makes a pleasing ASMR sound. Also this one grinds more than you would think. Holds an impressive volume of coffee.

Back in the 80's there was a show on PBS called The Frugal Gourmet. The host used a Turkish Coffee Mill to grind pepper. I've ordered several pepper grinders and never been really satisfied with the grind and speed. This coffee grinder finally solves all my problems. I can adjust the grind from fine to course and with a few cranks, I have a mountain of fresh ground pepper. My only comment is that I wish the handle was fastened to the top of the grinder. It is loose and would have liked it to be afixed to the top. But other than that I think it's a great pepper grinder. 5 Stars for my not so traditional use.
