I first got a couple of Hammerhead all metal valves to put in my showers after they were destroyed in the flood during the last hurricane as I rebuilt my home and became a "believer" in their solid, all metal shower products. Now I'm not really a "rainfall" shower kind of guy. I like my shower heads to chip paint with how much water they push out! Haha! However, I will admit, that sometimes you just want to relax and let the nice hot water flow over you while you belt out some Journey in the shower....(Or is that just me?)Well, I decided to put this 12" rainfall shower head in my second bath shower, which is quite small (Very small "Beach house"....I'm the POOR one in my neighborhood!) A rainfall shower head is perfect for this small shower IMO so I decided to grab this while I could, already KNOWING this would be a SOLID QUALITY product! This thing is HUGE at 12" and outputs a significant FLOW of water. (Not "pressure wise", it IS a rainfall shower head!) This works great in this small shower because while it is a "gentle rain" it is ENOUGH "rain" to rinse off and provide an ACTUAL shower! All Hammer head products that I have gotten and used have looked fantastic and had ZERO manufacturing "flaws" or were anything but flawless! Now, you must remember this is ALL METAL, so it is heavier than a cheap mostly plastic shower head and it has some "weight to it". This means you need to have a shower arm "extender" (You need to realize how BIG a 12" shower head is!) for this to function properly AND hold this securely.I got the HammerHead Showers ALL METAL 16 Inch Extended Shower Arm and Flange to go with this and reviewed that also. It holds this showerhead securely and was a breeze to install. Unlike many cheap (AND some expensive!) shower heads with plastic threads that you have to "over tighten" to prevent "drips and leaks", this takes a couple turns and you are done with NO drips or leaks!HammerHead products ARE on the "higher end" of prices if you are just looking for a "deal", but ARE in line with higher quality plumbing products that are ACTUAL QUALITY and not "just a name"! At the time of this review, this is available on a Prime spring deal for under $81 and a "must buy" at that price IMO. The "regular price" is under $95 and STILL a strongly recommended product at the retail price as the quality of these products are second to none! (I HAVE purchased and used some VERY expensive (and quality) plumbing products in the past and find all HammerHead shower products I have used so far to be the BEST I have used by far!

I ordered this showerhead by hammerhead in order to replace an old shower head in my bathroom. First thing to mention is how good this shower looks, very shiny and well made, with screws and quality materials. This is definitely metal as it is quite heavy and robust. The design is very sleek and even though it is quite large, it is very thin which adds a really nice touch to it.I combined this shower head with the 16 inch straight shower arm from hammerhead and the fit together very nicely, having absolutely no leaks and the installation was a breeze. For anyone wondering, I live in Canada and the threads for the pipe and the head are compatible with existing pipe lines in every home in Canada. My disappointment came after installing them but not due to the quality of the product but to the poor water line installation in my bathroom as well as the water pressure. This shower being metal like I mentioned is quite heavy, so with a 16" pipe this created a lot of leverage on the connection, making the whole installation feel flimsy and under too much stress, as if hitting the shower too hard may risk breaking the connection. Just trying to adjust the angle of the showerhead felt a bit risky as the pipe was bending a bit from the connection. The second issue I had with this is that basically if you don't have decent water pressure, then this showerhead is not for you. My bathroom is on the second floor of my house and it doesn't have a lot of pressure like closer to the main water line, which makes for an underwhelming experience with a shower head this size. Tilting the shower head to aim the water further in the tub is basically useless if you don't have proper water pressure. This shower head has a very small amount of tilting too, which combined with the 16 inch shower arm pointing straight down, makes the water fall too close to the wall which forces you to always stay very close to the wall as well. These limitations are really not the product's fault as the product itself works beautifully, but if you are looking into upgrading your shower head please take this into consideration before buying.

Excellent quality. Feels really well made and I love the sleek, thin profile and large coverage. It has a flow restricted that was easy enough to remove: the experience is much nicer without the restrictions and I'd definitely suggest it.

This product arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and arrived in a large flat cardboard box.I have not been able to test this out because I don't have the right shower attachment but this company also sells the piece I need so I hope it will work and I shall update my review once I have been able to test this properly. I just wanted to share some initial impressions.First of all, this is much bigger than I thought it would be and I love how thin and wide the actual shower head is which makes me feel as though it is classy and elegant. I had seen a similar device installed in my hotel room once and I loved the water capacity of that unit so I am hoping I shall be able to get comparable results with this one.The installation is very simple too, it is just that my exposed pipe to which this shower head attaches is too short so I have ordered the "all metail 16" J Style shower arm" (ASIN: B0DDT1G4WT). Please measure before ordering because the other attachment is priced at $55 CAD which adds to the budget for this item. I am hoping for good results however which would be well worth the $135 CAD asking price of this product.

So far so good. Definitely great quality for the cost. Very easy to install. We have hard water so will see how well it cleans with CLR on a semi-regular basis to eliminate calcium build up. Shower heads can go as high as $1000K, so this really good value…very heavy and well engineered/put together and the brushed nickel finish is on point!

Solid shower head. You can feel the build quality as soon as you take it out of the package. Very well built. Very large provides a great rainfall shower experience. Has a lifetime guarantee as well, seems like a great company. The nozzles are easy to clean. Great shower head!

Creating a spa-like atmosphere in your own bathroom for a few hundred as opposed to th the thousands a traditional makeover can cost is only a few steps away.NOTE: This review refers to the 12" rainfall shower by Hammerhead. We have a traditionally sized apartment bathroom. I added one 16" Hammerhead shower pipe to the configuration , both in the "brushed gold finish". I had never done any plumbing prior to this project so it evolved a bit. First it was important to me that when installed this high-end fixture still looked HIGZh-END! It didn't seem practical to create a little Zen in my home and then look unprofessional. So after reading over what seemed to be a very simple pamphlet of instructions...I gathered one vice grip that I had (no pipe wrench around) and set out to remove the existing silver showerhead and install the new brushed gold fixture. It proved much simpler than I had anticipated! I removed the existing silver plate which allowed me to verify that I could indeed remove ALL of the silver finish and permit the new gold pipe to attach just behind the wall. As my home used standard 1/2" pipe, once I wrapped the threads of the pipe with the included plumbers tape I screwed it on, tested at this point to make sure there wasn't any leakage and then placed my new gold flange and included lock screw. Simple , simple , simple! So as a man of 6' 1" it became immediately apparent that I would prefer one additional add-on pipe (10" shower head extension arm) which was only $23 in brushed gold which allowed me to elevate this gorgeous fixture to a more central position in my standard bath. I could now fully appreciate all my new "kit".If I could do this...you can too! As Hammerhead promised, everything is included to switch your showerhead to something very special indeed .My advice is don't be afraid and allow yourself some time to survey a myriad of options to truly bring this project home!Enjoy your new home spa!
