Hammock Bliss Tree Straps make it a breeze to set up your hammock most anywhere. Tree Straps are a tree friendly suspension system and extend the distance for hanging Hammock Bliss as well as many other hammocks. Tree Straps protect the tender bark of trees by evenly distributing the weight over a wider area while also protecting both the rope and the tree from abrasion. When hanging your hammock from a smooth surface such as a pole or post, tree straps act as a tension belt to prevent slippage. Tree Straps are completely adjustable and are ideal for quick set up and fast take down of your hammock. Hammock Bliss Tree Straps are now constructed of heavy-duty weather resistant polypropylene webbing. Polypropylene is the ideal webbing for tree strap due its strength and stretch resistance. These straps are super compact - they fit into a 3 x 5 inch travel bag and they are very lightweight - 2 straps and travel bag weigh only 3 oz. Tree Straps are the ultimate hammock accessory for camping, backpacking, hunting, traveling, backyards, decks and patios. If there is one thing you get to make your hammock easier to use, this is it.

I got this to replace the straps on my hammock. I planned on making whoopie slings and adding this to not damage the tree. The reviews talked about how light it was. I looked all over Amazon to find a better one, but couldn't find it. When I got it, the strap weighed almost as much as the daisy chain that came with the hammock. I would only save a few ounces.Later on I considered making a strap out of dyneema, but I would have had to buy a lot of it. I eventually found a dyneema strap on Ebay for about $15. It was one inch wide, but that still works and it was about 1/3 the weight. This one is now sitting on the shelf, but it was exactly what it said it was.

I would like to change my Review. Previously my opinion on this product was true. The product was not a quality I was willing to give another try. HOWEVER!!!!! The company noticed my bad review. personally emailed me. Asked if they could send me a better quality item of theirs, because customer satisfaction is important to them. Recieved it. And the product is a completely different strap. It's better Quality. Looks like it will hold up. I am impressed. Mostly for the way they handled it. I would shop again from them just for the fact that they cared. The straps are worth it. So is the company. No longer applicable!Previous review.I would give this thing 0 stars. The picture makes it look like it's the industrial straps. But it's not!! They are just cheap plastic that ripped FIRST time I sat in my hanmock. I was lucky it held on my a thred because my back would of been really sore for a while if it had completely collapsed. Sorry to write this but it's true. Don't do it!!! You can go to REI and buy some really nice ones for about ten bucks more. And they back up their products.

These straps were certainly worth the weight in my pack and did the job as advertised. No damage to the trees and easy to place and remove. The first pair had a defect near one end and the folks at Hammock Bliss sent me a new set immediately. I am very pleased with their customer service. The little bag the straps come in is handy, but we ended up packing the straps in the stuff-sack with the hammock.

First order was shipped promptly. My son used the straps with his ENO for approx. 3 months when the strap broke. I contacted customer service via the Hammock Bliss website. Their rep, DOV quickly responded to let me know that there had been a manufacturer defect and that they would gladly replace the straps at no charge. And I didn't even to ship back the broken ones! We have received the new straps & my son couldn't be happier to be able to use his ENO again. I highly recommend this company for their excellent customer service & quality products.

These are the perfect straps. I own the heavy, ENO prostraps, but didn't want to take them with me on a backpacking trip. I came across these and decided to try them out. They are more adjustable than the pro straps and they are insanely light. The bag they fit into must be half the size of the eno strap bag. I've loved these straps.

Perfect and easy to use.My sister and I had dedicated some time to figure out how to use these to hang my new hammock and were reading the instructions... Well, no instructions were needed. We had them up and attached to the hammock in a couple of minutes by wrapping them around the tree trunk and using carabiner hooks to connect the loop at the end to the hammock. We wanted to hang the hammock a little higher and just looped the straps around the tree trunk once more.I happened to put the hammock up on a day where we were experiencing 20-30mph winds. I kept thinking I should go take the hammock down... but it has all held up perfectly!

These hammock straps are awesome. Be aware that they do not come with caribeaners, but once you've got some you're able to quickly and easily set your hammock up almost anywhere. This is great for me, living in the city I don't have my own yard, but I can take my hammock out to the park, have it set up in 5 minutes and enjoy a few hours of relaxing.A couple of things to think about when you are thinking about buying these straps: If the trees in your area have very smooth trunks, the straps work better when wrapped around the tree more than once. This is fine if the trees are skinny, but if you only have big trees, I would suggest getting the longer version of these straps.Other than that, no complaints!
