This is too big for a regular microphone unless the diameter of the microphone is at least 5.5".At a 5.5" diameter, it is still a bit loose so ideally, your mic should be 6" or more. When was the last time you've seen that big of a mic being used at events??? Yes, you can modify the diameter by cutting and sewing but we're buying what should be a "ready" to use product. The wrap itself is clean though and well done.

I just received this sleeve along with the Sony tx660, and this sleeve is too big to fit a standard microphone (Sure SM57). Even the smaller loop is too small for the Sony tx660 to fit. I am going to return it as I have no use for it.
