This is a super pretty specialty yarn. It would be great for accents or edging on a coordinating color knitted or crocheted piece. The amount given should be plenty for such use as on a baby blanket which I’m planning. The strands are not twisted much, so care is needed not to drop a strand or two as you work. I’m not sure how it will hold up in a handwashing, but due to the thin strands, I’m going to be very gentle. I did take out one star because it would be much easier to work with more twist.

The rolls I received are very pretty. My rolls have five strands of different threads - metallic, tweed, twist, tiny sequin, and a fingering weight. It's akin to working with a five weight chunky yarn. This would make a great accent for a top or sweater. However, I would worry whether only 39 yards per spool would be enough.I also ordered the brown. It's a lot darker than the photo but still interesting.
