Paperbax: The Ultimate Book Holder-- Leave it at home or pop it into your pocket, backpack or handbag. Clip it onto a book to mark your spot and protect pages while on the go. Paperbax is the perfect lightweight and compact literary accessory for readers of all ages. Use Paperbax while exercising, commuting, traveling, for hobbies, homework, typing, bathing, nursing, sunbathing, cooking and more. Paperbax also opens into a bookstand which is ideal for readers who are on the go. PLEASE NOTE - for readers looking for a permanent table top bookstand to use at home, this is probably not ideal as you have to pick up the bookstand to change the page. But for those who need a portable stand, it is perfect as it collapses into a pocket-size product and is easy and light to carry. It attaches to your book - marking your page and making it one less thing to carry. Or it fits easily into a woman's purse or a man's pocket. Paperbax is designed for Paperback books only. Works with most Tablet PC's and with the Kindle. Kindle must have a cover to attach it to the base of, or attach it to the side of the kindle for a lower angle.

This product is excellent. It is great for use with my Kindle Touch! It makes it easier to hold, and of course I can prop it up to read or listen to audio books. It's great for my desk at work, very stable and holds my Kindle firmly. It is also great for paperback books. I have arthritis in my hands and holding paperback books begins to hurt my hand after a few minutes. This product holds the book for me and I can either set it down and read, or hold it. This product makes it much easier to hold. Love this product!!!

I had originally bought this to use as a cookbook stand, but I put it on a paperback and haven't taken it off. I have another book holder I use at the gym, this one is much stronger! It is taking me a bit to get used to pushing on the clip on the opposite side of the page I am turning. Now I thinking I want two more, one for my cookbooks, and one to replace the one I take to the gym. Anyway, I really like it. It is working great on a smaller size new paperback (the kind that are usually a bear to keep open). I tried it on the cookbook and it worked great for that too. I usually try to get the over-sized paperbacks, but with this holder I can save my money and get the smaller kind! Great!!

I'm an avid reader, but having learnt to knit whilst watching TV it seems odd not to be multi-tasking when I read. The Paperbax has proved itself to be ideal for this purpose, and I find I use it far more than i thought I would initially. It is a bit fiddly to turn the page at first, but I soon became used to that and I think the usefulness far outways the drawbacks.I mainly use the stand at home, but this weekend I went out for breakfast alone and took it with me; so I could read whilst I ate. Both the waiter and the people at the table next to me asked me where I'd got it, it was like being in an infomercial!

I would say that it works but the mechanism for changing pages is a tad bothersome. Still, it allows my son to read while eating, and works as a bookstand. I would have just gotten a bookstand. It works well enough as a book holder, and helps decrease the fatigue from holding a book while in bed. Not sure it is worth the money.

I really wanted this to work for me and i even committed to giving it a worthy trial period, but, it is just a bad product. I am a college student and am always reading from paperbacks. I used this product for about 9 days. In the beginning it was rough. It was hard to get used to turning the pages and keeping the wings out and stuff, but i was determined to 'get the hang of it'. After 9 days, i got the hang of it, and even though i had muscle memory and good reflexes with the product, it still was really bad and impractical.Number one thing that was really bad, is that the wings do not lock into place! The pieces of plastic that stick out to hold the device up will just fold in on you at random times. Especially if you pick up the entire thing. They really should have made a locking mechanism for that.Number two is that it really isnt easy to turn pages, the device is a double spring system that works for both sides of the book holder and they correspond to the opposite sides. It might sound crazy, but it actually is crazy. Its not at all easy to use and i felt like a was doing some sort of martial art every time i changed pages. And finally, it isnt strong. It doesnt hold books in place strong and firm but they are always coming out of the little clamps. Its a cheap little product.Oh yeah, and i have no idea what they meant by a bookmark...its not a bookmark at all. And I have a kindle, and i have no idea how they claim that it is a kindle holder because it simply is not.I sent my product back and am going to get the bookgem book holder on amazon. I would advise that you check that out, its only a couple bucks more than this. Dont waste your money here!

I was actually looking to get a couple more of my favorite desk book holders which are Fellowes Book Lifts, but I saw these and gave me the sense that I could read a paperback with only one hand, meaning any book the pages are going to move around and so on interrupting your concentration if you like to read holding the book up and away from you as I do.This stand does this. If you like to mark your text and read at the same time this can be a challenge because the upper back of the stand does not support the book, but you can easily grab it from on top to hold it so you can mark the passage.I do not often use it as a book stand for a surface, but you could. It is also really nice how it folds up and it is nice too the surface of the arms that actually hold the pages. This thing is really cool. Once you get used to how to release one side against the other, the pages turn easily. Furthermore, the arms do not extend to hold a huge number of pages, but you can use just a portion and it works fine in the way it supports the spine against the base of the holder. It is very well designed. It has made for me reading much more enjoyable as before, especially in bed. Plus I can keep the book in it for extended periods. It is really a great thing. I would never have expected that it would be as useful and helpful as it has turned out to be for me.
