We bought this vacuum for our cars. However, once it arrived, we realized that it would also work very well to do a surface clean of our laptops (make sure it is off before doing this). The vacuum is fairly strong for both sucking and blowing air. By attaching the peripherals on the clear-side, it operates as a vacuum and, on the solid black-side, it acts as a blower (see images).On laptops, using the suction side with the nozzle and the small brush attachment in combination, the vacuum was able to lift the dust and particles from around the keyboards of our laptop. The bristles on the brush also helped to lift material from along the edge of the touch pads and along the edges of the screens. After vacuuming the keys, the brush was removed and the nozzle was moved to the other side of the vacuum and the unit was used to blow any remaining material out from under the keys. After blowing out the keys, a second vacuum got the keyboard very, very clean, better than I have been able to get them using compressed air (and it does not have the same risk of blowing liquid under the keys that you need to make sure it is dry before turning the laptop, on that compressed air has).On the car’s carpet, the flat area attachment with the red material was used. The vacuum picked up the debris easily and, with some work - swiping from several angles - the vacuum was able to lift most of the dog hair that had worked itself deep into the carpet fibers. A lot of the hair gets caught by the red material and, if used on a dirtier surface, this pad needs to be cleaned (pulling the hair off) while cleaning. I used the max mode for this portion. For other parts of the vehicle, the nozzles on the vacuum are great for reaching into the crevices and corners of the car.The vacuum comes with an extra filter. After cleaning the car, it was easy to knock the material out of the filter. After knocking material out of the filter, some material was left in filter media, however, this was without washing the filter to clean everything out. Knocking the material out was enough for a quick clean of the filter. However, it is great that an extra filter was provided so that the second filter could be used while the first one is drying. The vacuum battery provided enough life to do a quick clean of the car.The vacuum has a light (with an emergency option) and a glass breaker is on the back, making this a great vacuum that can be left in the car. However, I am not sure the temperature range that this unit can withstand, so check this before leaving it in the air on hot or cold days.One recommendation, it would be nice if the light were on the suction side, rather than the blower side. Having a light on this side would help when vacuuming in some of the darker portions of the car, especially in the nook and crannies.A very nice feature of the vacuum is that the bottom of the vacuum is flat, which helps when changing the filter and is handy when needing to put the vacuum down while cleaning.Overall, this is a strong vacuum that worked well for both our cars and laptops. Thew attachments are useful and we are happy with the vacuum’s performance.

Smaller and weaker than similar hand vacuums in this price range. Small filter, without a prefilter on top. Emptying requires unlocking the whole dust bin, and the tabs already show wear after a few lock/unlock cycles. There's no quick opening latch.Suction compared to a similar vacuum that I have rated at 19kpa, this one rated at 20kpa is noticeably less.Accessories are okay, but rather plastic-y. Extension hose is quite short and stiff. The flashlight is reasonably bright in a pinch, but would have been more handy if it was feasible to do it in the front so that it's easier to see what you're vacuuming in a car.

I love this things so much. Admittedly my expectations were low for such a small vacuum, but I was blown away by its force. It does indeed pick up heavy things, and if you have the relatively wide nozzle on it'll get large-ish debris as well, but when the nozzle is fully blocked the pitch of the whirr quickly elevates to a range where I'm sure if I didn't clear it promptly it would damage the motor. I don't think I've ever used MAX mode for actual vacuuming, ECO mode is just great, and the charge lasts impressively as well.The chamber holds a reasonable amount. I have a large long-haired dog and two cats, and this easily pulled up all the tumbleweeds off the floor of a whole room without any clogging or loss of power. The only other vacuum I have to compare it to is a Dyson V8 Animal. Obviously it's not as powerful as that, but I believe it is as powerful as a Dyson would be if Dyson made a vac this size. And the chamber on that one is situated such that larger clumps of animal hair tend to clog the intake in a way that this one has no trouble. I do wish the flexible silicone bit that covers the intake were a little firmer -- I'm not sure if it's supposed to be "closing" the hole when not under suction, but it doesn't do that, and so it doesn't really prevent dust etc. from falling back out if it's inverted while not on. That's super minor.As another reviewer has mentioned, the tiny filter definitely hangs onto small debris. I haven't cleaned the filter yet (aside from tapping it out), but my plan is to swap in the extra and then use the blower side of the vac with one of the straw-like nozzles in the open end of the filter to blow out all the stuck stuff. The listing says this is a HEPA filter. Is that true? There's no part # to confirm that, so it seems like perhaps marketing fluff.

Plenty of suction for your every day needs. It also comes with good attachments to use around the house or in the car. The SOS mode and flashlight come in handy when you carry it in your vehicle. No issues and easy to read screen.
