There is no good size information on the entire listing unfortunately.Ordered this hoping it would be a quality handle at 20-24 inches.Unfortunately the handle length from end to end is 18"Too small for my intended use. Finish came rough and needing sanding and oiling. Grain was decent except for a large discoloration on the palm of the handle.Returning

I used this handle to rebuild an 1960’s era craftsman 1 3/4lb boy’s axe. Very respectable wood for the work, full straight grain with minimal xylem channels. Came exceptionally dry and lightly oiled. Make sure to check other reviews for dimensions to make sure the handle profile is compatible with your axe head. It was a little small for my head and I lost about 1.5” in length to relocating the head down the handle to find a snug fit for the eye depth. Handle is a bit wide for an American profile, make sure you finish the handle to the profile prior to installation to save yourself some aggravation whittling after the fact. Sand and add shape for octagonal profile if desired, make sure to oil after, though. Profile feels great in the hand, good swell and fawns leg profile for work barehanded or in size L gloves. Can’t complain about the results, she bucks and splits like a champ!
