This paper is absolutely gorgeous! We used it for my daughter’s wedding invitation and they turned out amazing. Even the printers we used to print the invitation loved this paper. It reminds me of the paper you made in elementary school. I love the matte, kinda rough texture. It has a good thickness, but it is fragile. She wanted it embossed, but putting it on a light sticky made for the cricut, tore it up every time i tried, so if you want it for something like that, I would choose a different paper. If you are using your own printer, definitely buy extras because of the live edge, it will get caught up every now and then.

I got the 5x7 paper, priced at $18.95 at the time. I have always liked the look of deckled edge paper and often use a journal with deckled edge recycled cotton paper such as this. I tested with a few ink types and some watercolor paint. I was pleasantly surprised that the fountain pen ink didn't really feather, unlike quite a few other pages I have used in the past, especially considering that the ink I used is relatively thin. I make pens and will definitely use this paper for demonstrating with ink types on different papers. From my testing, it does look like this will work well for watercolor painting, too. To test the watercolor, I wet the bottom half of the section before painting, and left the top half dry. There wasn't a huge difference, but I did not let the paper really soak first. Either way, I think I'll be doing some more painting on these papers. I'm sure paintings will come out better when I'm not just putting blobs on paper to see how well it works.Based on my test with fountain pen ink, I do believe it would work well for calligraphy. That would make it great for hand written invitations and/or seating placeholders. I can definitely recommend it, though it is quite pricey in my opinion.

I ordered one pack of 50 first, with the intent on trying them out for my wedding invitations. I loved them! They printed well on my inkjet printer, despite having to load one at a time (I’m okay with that!) I was so excited that these were working that I came back and ordered 2 more packs of 50. These two are a very different color and much larger than the first pack. These new ones will not fit in an A7 envelope like my first pack will, and will certainly not fit in the velum sleeves I am using. I am disappointed, I need 100 more of these and am afraid to buy again

Love the colors of these handmade papers. Have purchased all the colors. Size of 8 inch square is unusual but I make them work.
