Really like the hand rail, easy directions to put together, came equipped with wood mount screws and cement screws, smart, the only complaints is we only received one end cap, didn’t have the energy to request the missing end cap.

My wife and I both think that this is a very nice looking modular hand rail system and is very sturdy installed. The manual is very helpful and well written and illustrated. It assembles nicely and comes with all the special hardware, drills and bits you need for installation.The installation is relatively straight forward and if you have the proper tools and are competent in their use, it is fairly routine. If you don't have the tools and/or you don't feel confident, then you might consider hiring a handyman to do the installation. I have always advocated teaching yourself how to do a project, and now days with YouTube it is easier than ever, and spend the money you save by doing it yourself to buy any special tools, like in this case a hammer drill, if you are installing in concrete.Although I am an old hand at this kind of stuff, I did have a few problems installing this railing in well aged high strength concrete. I used several new style “arrow head” masonry drills to initially drill the holes and then used the masonry drill included in the kit to “ream” the holes to the specified diameter. I am a product design engineer, so I know how to measure, and each hole was 1/4” deeper than required to completely seat the anchors. I then used the thin tube nozzle on my air compressor to completely purge the holes of any dust.3 of the 8 anchors went in relatively easily, but 5 of them did not go all the way and I buggered up the pin trying to seat them all the way. The manual tells you that they are difficult to seat, but I think that they may need to look into different anchors or possibly supply a slightly larger drill bit. After I finished bolting the standards down, I used my angle grinder to cut off the 1/2” or so extra thread to be able to install the trim escutcheons. The final job looks great and is quite ridged. I can recommend this product to anyone.

Very sturdy handrail, easy to install with a hammer drill in concrete. Took my husband less than 30 minutes to put the rail together, use it to measure where the holes would be, mark the holes, then drill the holes and install the rail. The anchor bolts for wood and concrete comes with the handrail, along with the screws necessary to install the cross bar and the cover caps to hide the bolts. Really nice looking when finished and my husband was impressed.
