Did you get these socks like I have seen ones been wearing them for probably decades so if you get them you already know comfortable and last a long time and the price is right!!!

Good every day socks for the money. Hanes quality had gone down. They could make a better sock.

First of they are socks. Big deal right? Okay my husband is a bit picky about his socks. He prefers Hanes when it comes to socks and pocket t- shirts. We have purchased other brands and had been disappointed. They are thick enough for comfort but not too thick. The socks hold up well wash after wash. I know socks cover your feet but why not do it in comfort?

I bought these for my son and he loved them because they fit just above his ankle and are very comfortable!

It was important to me to find affordable (read that as low-priced) _cotton_ socks, so I thought I'd try these and their promised 81% cotton blend. After all, we live in an age of compromise and disappointment, and I figured 81% would be close enough. But while I knew I was lowering my standards for the sake of getting some cheap, basic socks, I didn't know they were socks of deception.Remember that whole 81% cotton thing? Nope. It was a lie. They are only 50% cotton. And it's not like they sent the wrong ones or something, the label has the same item model number as the listing; "186/7" and the packaging uses the same schlocky "one pair free for a total of 7" schtick. Nah, this isn't a case of warehouse sloppiness or a typo, this is strait-up deception, AKA, fraud. But then again, so if half the stuff Amazon sells, eh? Fraud is SOP around here.Hey, in an age where outright lies are becoming ever more accepted and truth is defined as whatever confirms your own bias, why should we expect the predations of deception to bypass the sock market? So in the highly popularized spirit of embracing propaganda, I think these socks might actually be 100% cotton. Never mind the photographic evidence I have provided that the socks are 50% cotton; that's just "misinformation." Never mind that they told you the socks would be 81% cotton, and that's all that you need. No, a good citizen knows that these are 100% cotton socks, and anyone who disagrees is a dangerous "other." I love you, Big Bro- er, I mean, Hanes!"It's not the message that's important, but our obedience to it."

Was advertised as 81% cotton and when we received the socks with the correct order number the socks were only 50% cotton and 49% polyester ..the seller needs to correct the description

Good Value. The socks are kind of thin. I'm not sure how well they wash. I'm happy with them. I needed some roomy socks. I would recommend them.
