Very compact and light weight for storing in luggage. I plan to use it on a cruise to stretch closet space. Seems very sturdy. I think a great travel item.

This is a clever design but it is only useful as a second bar below children's clothing. It needs to be at least four inches longer to be able to clear the length of a shirt or even trousers hung over the hanger bar. I use standard velvet hangers, not anything extra large. This was cleverly packed up and required minimal assembly but by shortening the length of the hanging bars, the functionality of this has been eliminated and it's useless except for very short clothing such as children's sizes.

I got these to add extra hanging space when I have visitors. The material is not heavy duty but okay, easy to put together.

Feels a little bit flimsy, but so far it's holding up my clothes. I haven't completely packed it full since I'm testing it out, but it's been a few days and it's still holding up.

I was very excited about how these might help us maximize our closet space. My husband works in a field with multiple sets of uniforms and I don't own many dresses, so I thought having double the space for hanging shirts might be helpful. These extenders really aren't long enough to accommodate adult clothing, especially for men. I'm a size MD/LG t-shirt, and even those are too long to hang on a standard plastic hanger. With the extension at its max length, the hems of my shirts fall an inch or more lower than the extension bar. There are still ways in which this may be useful to folks: someone who is wheelchair-bound may need this to lower their hangers to an appropriate height, if you'd like the hanger bare to be lower for kids, or if you want to store smaller items (hats, handbags, pants/shorts, etc.) from the regular closet bar and use the lower part for shirts. However, I can't give this a higher rating because it explicitly advertises that it is long enough to fit adult-sized shirts on the top closet bar if the product is fully extended. It feels like a pretty significant misrepresentation of how the product functions. If you think this may work for you, don't trust the product photos. Make sure you hang a few pieces of clothing in your closet and measure out the total length of the hanging garment before ordering.

Ok, I LOVE these. They are collapsable and fold up so small, but they adjust a ton. I am using them for a kid closet to help the little ones reach their own clothes when the main bar is too high, so they don't need to be super heavy duty, but I did need ones that would lower the bar height substantially and these do the trick. Don't be fooled on opening- they have a lot of height!

These are easy to use and I think it's a brilliant idea, but I feel like they're kinda flimsy. And exen though I'm short, the handles weren't long enough (extended to the max) to go past the top set of clothes.
