Your cart is empty. The Haoge Lens Hood is primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens, plus prevent vignetting. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact.

Would be a perfect 5 stars, but it sits loose on my lens once its 'clicked on'. The lens is a Canon 17mm-40mm F4/L. Doesn't feel like its going to fall off, but it rattles a bit which is annoying. The funny part is, when its installed in the reversed position (for storage or just not using) it doesn't rattle at all and fits snugly. Wish it was like that both ways around. 3 stars.

It fits my Canon 10-22mm lens, but it's so tight that I've actually gone back to using my old loose one. Getting it on and off feels like I'm dislodging things in my lens.
