This lens hood is a great replacement for the Fuji metal hood. This works great on the 60mm Macro lens as well.

The stock hood on the Fuji 35mm f/1.4 gets in the way of using a normal lens cap. This replacement hood works great. Fits well, sturdy, small enough to not be obtrusive, large enough to give some protection to the lens front element.

Have had 35mm F1.4 Fujinon kens for ten years, always worried about the loose rubber lens hood cover falling off the hood. This new hood and lens cap are supremely well made, durable, great fitting, and a MUST HAVE for any owners of the Fijinon X-mount 35mm lens. Fits well and looks great on my XT-3 with the 35mm lens. The hood cover slides on and off with a snug and secure felt lining. Strongly recommended!

Actually did not fit my camera but item was in excellent condition. The ease of returning the item was good.

I love this little hood. They were smart to design something that lets me access the cap on my lens easily, and turn a polarizer when necessary. But, this copy fit waaaay too tight. My first thought was, don’t force it and send it back. But, for the hell of it I put some elbow behind it and got it in place. I think they may have cut the track a little too narrow on the day mine was produced. Other than that, I know from experience that they hold up real well and I’m glad I got it. Just a closer look at the quality of machining the piece and maybe it’ll be perfect next time.

This Haoge lens hood is an excellent aftermarket lens hood for Fujifilm lenses, and was purchased for a Fujinon 18mm lens. This is my second Haoge hood, as I also have one for my Fujinon 23mm f2 lens which I am very happy with. I echo what “oakie” stated in their review - black anodized aluminum, well made, fits snugly and bayonets on perfectly, and good value for money. I especially like that I can easily attach/detach standard “center pinch” lens caps, unlike the ridiculous rubber cap that comes with the Fujifilm 18mm hood (which this Haoge hood replaces). For informed comparison, I do own the OEM Fujifilm square hoods for both the Fujinon 16mm F1.4 and 23mm f1.4 (and the 18mm f2). However, the Fujifilm hoods use a flat sliding cover, and a regular lens cap cannot be used. The Haoge hoods are essentially equal in quality to the Fujifilm products, allow use of a regular lens cap, and are cheaper as well. I highly recommend the Haoge lens hoods for Fujifilm lenses.

I use this on a 18mm f2. Fit is fine. The hood is two pieces (apparently) as I had the hood separate from the mounting ring... to be fair it was a operator who knocked it off more than the device itself failed. I was about to fit it back on without much trouble and it hasn’t done it again.

Price is a little steep, still cheaper than the Fuji brand, however. Better than the Fuji brand in every single way. Never understood how they got away with such a poorly designed hood and cap! Would rate it 5 stars if it were $30. It fits ridiculously well on the 35, absolutely no chance of twisting off unless you REALLY want to take it off.

I have a Fuji XF 35 mm F1.4 lens that I bought this lens hood for and I must say that I am very impressed with the build quality of this item. The stock lens hood and cap were always a problem because the rubber hood that came with the lens hood kept on coming off. But with this lens hood and the Haoge square metal cap cover that they offer this is the perfect replacement for Fuji’s stock hood/cap that they offer. The lens hood is made of aluminum and fits snugly to the lens and the lens cap has a felts lining on the inside of the rim to ensure that it fits tightly and won’t fall off. At about $50 total for both items it’s a little pricey but well worth it when considering I won’t have to worry about losing the lens cap anymore. I highly recommend these products.

Excellent value and a significant upgrade in use compared to the lens hood that comes with the 35mm ƒ/1.4 and 18mm ƒ/2 lenses from Fujifilm. The hood is primarily constructed out of aluminum, with a small plastic ring embedded into the base that holds the bayonet rails. It secures to the lens snugly, with no wobble, and with a positive, firm "click" as the bayonet lugs engage. Lugs are aligned properly so the hood fits straight. The whole hood is anodized in matte black to minimize reflections. the Inside of the hood is also ribbed, presumably to further prevent reflections.and for those that care, the emblems etched onto it are very discreet, limited only to a small logo on the underside of the base when installed, exactly as photographed. The best feature is it's ability to allow use of your standard lens cap while in place, something the hood Fujifilm provided with these lenses cannot. I would recommend a better quality lens cap than the one Fujifilm provides with their smaller, older lenses. Something with a deeper recessed center pinch for better grip when removing.
