Stayed that it was for a zeiss zm 28mm 2.8Fits finish is not bad but will not allow you to mount a filter I tried 3 including a low profile slimWill not for Ruth filter attached to lens

I got the square vented hood in silver for my Carl Zeiss 50mm f/1.5 Sonnar for the ZM/M-mount. It fits perfectly and the color matches the silver lens well. If you look REALLY closely, the visual texture is a little rougher, but it doesn't matter and no one will notice. The build quality is really nice since it's metal and a lot cheaper than the OEM version. Plus, I think the square version looks cooler than the round vented one.

The quality of this lens hood is either on par or superior than the one from Voigtlander. It's money well spent.
