Got this for my 10 month old and he loves it- good quality for the price and as described.However, beware used products sold by Amazon. The description said that it was “like new” and just an open box, but turned out it was missing several screws needed to add the safety bar for smaller babies. Luckily my resourceful partner was able to buy replacement screws but otherwise it would have been unusable.

Very cute (exactly as pictured), easy to assemble, and the perfect size for most kiddos 2-3 years and under. Hape products are usually a nice quality and this is no different. I also appreciate that it does not flip/tip easily when my son goes into Wild, Wild West mode on it! I would definitely purchase this again - it’s a steal for the price!

Adorable rocking horse. My one-year-old granddaughter can sit on the seat and place her feet on the top of the rocker while rocking. Another week of practice, and she will probably be able to get on and off by herself. The horse is very stable.

Pros:Its a well made producteasy to assembleconsThis is suitable for maybe kid upto 12 monthsI have a 15 month old and she is tall. She found it difficult to play with this since her legs used to touch the groundThe rocking is very minimal (may be to keep it safe) and thats one reason i thought my kid who is very active did not enjoy it. She used to try very hard to make it rock faster and used to get tired and eventually bored. I used to have a similar horse in my childhood and remember it used to give me quite a thrill.The safety has taken the fun out of this product.

Bought this horse for my son for Christmas, he loves it! He was 10 months old and after a little practice was able to crawl on and off by himself. He is now 13 months and still plays with this almost everyday. I love the quality of Hape toys and love that this is made out of wood. The simple design makes it a classic and I can see it being handed down and played with for years. Whenever our older nieces and nephews visit they always seem to gravitate towards it as well.As a side note my son gets pretty crazy with his rocking and it shows no wear for it.

My son got this for his first birthday, and now, two months later, it is his favorite toy! It's the perfect size for him! On his actual birthday the toys with the bells and whistles won out, but this one has long lasting power! He's able to get some of his energy out while having a blast! He rocks like a CRAZY man and it's never tipped over on him! I don't regret this purchase at all.
