I bought this sushi roll maker because I had purchased another that was quite small for what I had in mind. This particular size is great for things like a California roll, which take a few things inside and demand a bit more size flexibility. You can also control the diameter of the roll easily by controlling the amount of rice you put inside. Personally, I just place the Sushi Nori Seaweed wrapper inside, then the rice, fillings and more rice on top, bend the seaweed wrapper to cover, and then press down gently. Take it out, make sure the wrapper is nice and sealed, and then cut it into pieces. The pieces are not small, but not large either, provided you have been judicious with your rice. Yes, I like it a lot, and for the price, it's a no-brainer.

Easy, works well placing nori sheet first for me. Too big, so I add more feelings and less rice.
