I love the unit but the remote wasn’t sinked with the unit and I can’t seem to figure out how to do it with the instructions that were given to me. Also the exhaust a air intake needs about 3 inches clearance so you need to mount it up on two 2x4s but I’m still giving it 5 stars because it works so well I will be using the unit in several places greenhouse, side by side for ice fishing, chicken coop and if I’m somewhere on my acreage working just as a heat source to warm up my hands ect.

I was looking for some sort of heat source to keep my 9’x12’ greenhouse heated to 23 degree CI stumbled across these units. Unbelievable! This unit is self contained, super efficient, portable, super reliable, and the thermostat is adjustable from 8C to 30 Plus C. It is super easy to operate. It takes a minute or so preheat the glow plug and system but that’s how they work. Within a minute you have warm/hot air blowing from the flexible output hose. You simply press the Power button and the toggle through the display to the Temp page and simply select the desired temperature by press the Up or Down buttons.I have used it now for 3 weeks in temperatures down to minus 2C. I had the unit set for 11C.It burned 1.5. - 2 liters of fuel in a 12 hour period overnight. Excellent! Also the fan output increases at start up and then nicely slows down as the unit reaches the desired temp. This gives excellent air flow. When fan is on high it is very powerful. This is not a toy. It works,perfectly!I like this unit so much, I ordered and now have a second unit to keep at my lake home to preheat my riding snowblower’s engine.

I am very excited to have this! It has been down to -2 F and this thing is nice! I installed it and of course had to do some modifications but only took about 3 hours to install and start running. I had to modify the exhaust tube to fit in my install. That will be typical on where you install it. I also had to drill the vent hole on the cap and install a barb and hose with a vent cap to keep the diesel from leaking out the cap. The heater is in a van and since I drive a lot, the diesel sloshes around. The tube makes it hard for the diesel to get out. The other mod was not really a mod but more of protection. Wrap the exhaust tube because it gets red hot! The only issue I have with the unit is the remote. I have yet to get it to connect. The instructions are a bad translation and hard to follow but I am sure I will figure it out. Just don't really need the remote so it hasn't been a priority for me.Great device and good experience so far!

This is a great compact alternative to a wood stove or dangerous portable kerosene heaters. I use this to heat an 8’ X 16’ shed/workshop (128sq ft). It’s partially insulated (work in progress) and it really heats up fast. When it’s 30F outside, this will heat it up to 65-70F in about 30 minutes, maybe less. It will then keep the workshop at 70F while on its lowest setting all day. I really love how little fuel it uses.I decided to utilize every bit of heat this thing produces and purchased a longer exhaust pipe and made a few loops with it. This alone produces a decent amount of heat, no sense in letting it heat the outdoors :) I also purchased a through-hull exhaust port to really finish it off. All in all I’m very happy with this heater, it’s quiet enough that I can easily have a conversation with someone while in the workshop without feeling like we’re raising our voices.

It would've been 5 star if the remote worked. But, remote is very critical for this item! This particular pannel with the remote, there is NO youtube video available on how to pair it. The manual is garbage. I tried to contact VEVOR support, but no reply for over a week. And amazon support just provided me with bunch of VEVOR support info and chinese manufactor contact info which was not useful at all.If you are getting a diesel heater, get one with pannel & remote where you can see pairing viedeo available in youtube.I gave up with support and I will just deal without remote..

Used 2020 winter in garage even though it's a car heater 600 sq. Ft non insulation works ok in the fall does great temps 50/30 winter 40/20 not so great concrete floor gets cold nothing works had wood stove took 2 hrs to get the air warm.it will get the chill out quick in fall most my jobs are only a couple hours anyway.fuel consumption was low a tank last 4.9 hrs. If it was used in camper or van would stay toasty and be cheap to operate. Housing is kind of cheap thin but remember the price cheap. The rest seemed well made and it does get hot I didn't use the remote ever thing worked as stated if used for a garage I would recommend the 8000 btu. Also didn't drain battery very fast but mine ran wide open mostly. in a vehicle it would run on low mostly and suspect would use very little fuel. mine is the fully contained with a gallon and quart fuel tank. If you have the space the other stylecan be mounted below with a larger separate fuel tank and supplies. The EXHUAST does get hot I cut hole in wall and used a metal electrical double outlet box. The knockouts are perfect size for intake and exhaust .the wall didn't get hot nor vinyl siding. Hope this helps.

I've only been running it for about 4-5 hours inside with the exhaust temporarily going out the wood stove flue just to test it out and I did run it @ several different settings out side for about 2 hours as well just to burn off any new smells and in all that time the fuel level only dropped about 3/4 "-1 " on a #5-6 setting with a few15-20 minute bursts @ the #10 setting ,,Very Efficient Indeed.It's 31 F ,damp and windy outside and it's maintained my 2000 sq ft house @ 69 F . My house is well insulated so that helps, but that's still Amazing IMHO !I mounted mine on a small 31 dollar (on sale) Harbor Fright welding cart so I'll be able to use it for different purposes and can Tee into any duct work I want to, ie; the house, off road camper, my workshop, the garage and I guess it could be used to heat my big tent as well for campground use ? That way the unit is not only portable, but pretty safe being outside.I just hope it has good longevity but in just the few short hours I've used it ,,I'M VERY VERY IMPRESSED !The control panel had come loose in shipping as it is only attached by 2 sided tape and there were a few small dents , dings and a small bend in the case and a few surface scratch's but being a body man I was able to straighten it all out OK and compound out the scratch's without it even being noticeable. None of this was very serious but It could use a bit better packaging for shipping than the original box IMO . It still has a bit of plastic/electronics/ smell and hot smell from the stainless exhaust pipe curing still, but not horrible & I think that will go away eventually?BTW,,,Defiantly get a couple better hose clamps for the exhaust pipe, the ones that come with this unit just WILL NOT squeeze down the exhaust pipe down tight enough so it won't leak exhaust gasses.It shipped very fast as well,,,one happy buyer so far. Other than the somewhat sparse packaging protecting the heater.
