Easy to install. Just screw the factory units out and screw these in. It's easier to do so when you're swapping off the top.I think they look cool and seem to be well made. The U shaped "shoulders" of each unit look to be detachable, but I don't know why. It seems they might make convenient tie downs in a pinch if you've got something stowed in the rear compartment that's not too heavy.FYI, these will not fit a Jeep TJ (2000). The product description didn't say they did, but I tried just for grins. No go.Overall, I'm not sure this is a massively functional upgrade, even though it's a little easier to remove them compared to the stock ones. But they look good.
