Had to modify quite a few things. It's very difficult to put together. I am extremely mechanically, inclined. So for me to say that it was tough. Aside from that, the brackets do not fit properly underneath the hard top, nor did they lineup properly. I do have it on, but that was not a joy to get on

Items were not packed well, and the hardware was lost in transit due to falling out of a banged-up box. Not sure if this caused any of the scuffing but all of the metal pieces are rusting in multiple spots. Not just scuffs but the powder coating was missing in spots as well. Seller was quick to offer a discount when hardware was reported missing, hence 2 stars.

Obviously this is low budget, but missing and defective bolts. You would think like most products they could provide extras, nope. Instructions are very, very minimal. Basically have to figure it out as you go. No information on led lights, no wiring, no instructions whatsoever on the 4 LED lights. Like what is the amperage draw going to be? Would it depend on how it’s wired? What size fuse do I need etc. I like the price but I’m left here hanging, which is very disappointing.

When it is empty and you are traveling about 50 + mph, there is "A LOT" of wind noise. The faster you travel, the louder it gets.

This has been a fun project, almost complete. Like others said, instructions are less than adequate. This is a good quality rack made for Jeep, but I'm adapting to a universal bed rack on my GMC Canyon. Assembly took about 1.5 hours. Best done on a table (not the dining room table) and lay out the parts in advance. Finger tighten the five cross beam bar screws and add the front and back panels. The F/B panel screws are inserted from the inside, so it was a little hard getting to those. I did one side, then the other, then went all the way around and tightened down the screws. I didn't use the mounting plates; will attach to my truck bed rack with squared u-bolts. Somebody mentioned problems with the lighting, but those are easy. I tied the two corner lights together, then ran a 14ga 4-wire cable from the rack to the battery area where it ties into an Auxbeam controller so I can turn on the big light or two side lights. As a ham, I also installed a couple radio antennas and will feed those cables into the cab where the radios are located. Definitely a two-person install job. Fun project.
