0.6 inch refers to LENGTH of nailthe nail HEAD is about 3 mmit's a very dull yellow metal and is not a bright shiny yellow brass color like I thoughtFYI: it is made in ChinaFor the price, I thought it would be made in USA, but this kind of product seems to be beneath us nowI had to return because it did not fit my needs, so cannot comment on quality of nails

These are beautiful brass nAils but too short to nail brass onto antique furniture

I wanted to use these to secure fabric on an upholstery project, but these nails bent too easily (even under the small force of the tack hammer). They are not the brass color pictured, but more of a bronze color.

I bought this to secure the cardboard backing to one of those cube shelves from target. Handy little nail, good for a lot of purposes. I have big, fat hands which made it mildly difficult to work with and that’s my problem, not the products. If you have hands like mine you’ll want to use a pair of pliers to secure the nail while you hammer.
