Nice bucktail for fly tying and nice yellow color.

Whoever came up with the phrase, "look can be deceiving," must have been talking about this bucktail. The quality is just terrible, and it looks nothing like the product images. In fact, one tail wasn't even the same size as the other--it was maybe 1/3 the size. How can that be labeled as "large?" . . . But to make an awful product even worse, both arrived folded in half and stuffed inside plastic packaging almost too small to contain it. So when i opened said package with scissors, i inadvertently cut off a large clump of hair tips. Now, rather than tie some flies for Christmas gifts, I get to stare at two sad pieces of bent, unusable, partially whacked materials someone dug out of the bottom of the clearance bin, folded in half, and crossed their fingers nobody would notice.

I ordered two red and two yellow. Let me just say wow what a waste of time. The ad says large northern buck tails but these are not. I received buck tails in two of the packages that are so small they put two of them in to try and compensate. The items look like they have been repackaged at some point and are all small. It’s sad that they waste peoples time like this.

The bucktail is long, straight, and beautifully dyed. It serves my tying purposes beautifully.
