Groove slipped right behind the race. No hammering, no breaking stuff, pulled it right off without leaving a mark. Tape over your threads if you're overly cautious

It broke on first use. It’s made out of cheap pot metal. It might work for you if you are lucky and your race hasn’t run onto the shaft too far and it hasn’t seized on. I ended up using a split style puller that worked better.
