Was worried due to low price and bad reviews. Figured if the woofer sucked, the box was worth the price. Well, the box is really big. And really high quality. It's awesome really. The subwoofer itself just hits really hard, it's a single coil 2ohm, but it sounds really decent. I haven't dared work it too hard yet, you have to use subwoofers at half power for awhile until it gets broken in and everything stretches properly. Otherwise you will blow it out in no time.

For the price it works and rattles your brain powering it with a orion cobalt 2000watt x1 amp.box is well built

I purchased this unit a few months ago and the subwoofer was hooked to a Harmony Audio 400.1 at half gain. The subwoofer frame gave out and cracked as you can see in photos. Harmony Audio stated that they would replace it as long as I cover shipping, absolutely ridiculous!! It cost more to ship it than just purchasing a new one. The Amp is Awesome but the sub, not at all!!

Well I wanted a new box for a different 15 I already had but it destroyed the used box I bought for it. This box seemed good for the price and for an extra $40 it came with a 15, figured I'd keep as a spare and put my other sub in box. Honestly for the price buying to use , this probably gets 5 stars , don't expect a game changer but I'm not fully impressed with my big boy 15 either and it cost alot more. I never even heard harmony sub in harmony box. I removed and went to put my other sub in this box and... it didn't fit in the recessed area, the diameter of the outter ring was barely too big, right when I was about to give up I had an idea and I barely squeezed it in. Then I put harmony sub in old box to test and see if it was sub or box making noise. This sub is rated 450rms, I gave it 1800rms and cranked it. Made a funny sound after about 5 minutes of hammering (but hey I Gave it more than 3 Times the power its rated for) so I turned it down and it sounded OK. And this box isn't hitting as hard as my old one was, but it hasn't started to come apart yet and it sounds alot better, deeper sounding, the other box never sounded like it had a 15 , too punchy and quick, this box gives that low 15 deep long bass you think of when you think 15, I do wish it hit just a tiny Harder. The 4 stars is just because I had to Jimmy my other sub in. For the price this is a great deal. I think I might grab 1 more of these subs and a double box for my other system and see what 2 (900 rms total) would do with 1500rms or 1000 but probably 15.... for the price its worth the risk. Might just pound and be good

Product arrived defective/damaged out of box. Slightest touch to speaker at dead center presented obvious coil rub. I have been dealing with stereo equipment for over half my life. So I %10000 know how a speaker should perform and what to do and what not to do. If it arrived fully functional it probably would have been a fantastic item. Mine unfortunately did not arrive fully functional. I paid for a new fully functional loaded enclosure and if that’s what I had opened up then I most definitely would not be giving this bad review. Returning item was hell!!!!!!! I would have tried buying another one from seller if the return wasn’t such a big fiasco! Speaker basket is very thin. If handled correctly during shipping and you don’t get sold a damaged one that someone returned due to aggressive package handlers then item is a ok buy for the money!

first off let me say the people at Hi Fi Sound connection are awesome!!! super easy to deal with. secondly we got off to a bit of a rough start.. the first sub they sent only worked for maybe 5min under zero load.. barely enough volume to move the sub. they said send it back at no cost.. they sent another one.. the second never worked at all.. just made a horrible garbled bass sound until you pushed on the cone then worked fine but only while pushing on the cone.. they said send it back.. I wanted a refund at this point and they said sure! well a mistake was made in the warehouse and a 3rd sub was sent out. they were kind enough to tell me I could try the sub to see if it worked and if it did and I liked it then i could keep it.. if not they would send me another prepaid shipping label.. well today I took the sub to best buy and unboxed it in their install shop and bench tested the sub box.. it sounded amazing!! even the installers at best buy were super impressed with the lows this thing was hittin.. I took it home hooked it up in my sons truck and it sounds awesome!!! for the price of this loaded sub box you cannot go wrong!! I would definitely recommend this sub for anybody looking for affordable 15in deep bass! A+ customer service also...
