FMODs are packaged in pairs and can be combined with other FMODs to obtain bandpass ranges or with other types of crossovers to change the slope and crossover frequency point. FMODs feature a 12 dB per octave crossover slope and are compatible with all RCA type input amps...simply place the FMOD in-line with the patch cable running between the source (head unit) and the amplifier. 24kt gold over brass construction, 10 volts maximum RMS input. One-year manfacturer warranty. Made in the U.S.A.

A perfect product for my need. My audio system of 11 speakers and two subwoofers which I had custom modified by using resistors to tap into the speaker input to two large front speakers displayed 60 to 120 Hertz noise after passing through amplification. This noise not ground loop noise but rather pickup on the feed into an amplifier after passing through the 50 Ohm/100 Watt resistors used to drop speaker OUT power to line level IN. The Harrison Labs filters eliminated this noise with little (or no) obvious sound distortion. I learned of this idea by reading of what is done to add powerful amplifiers and speakers to existing equipment in automotive audio.

I use these to filter out the bass from my Minirig speakers when DJ'ing small parties. I have a 12" EV sub and feed a 1/8" signal into a small headphone amp that is used to control the signal to each Minirig and the sub so it's like a little mixer. Worked great but the Minirig's DSP would cut the volume back because they were working too hard. I added these inline post-mixer with a few RCA to 1/8" adapters (be sure to use the right direction, it matters) and they are now much louder and cleaner. The alternative would be to buy an expensive electronic crossover and these were so much cheaper, don't need power and are super clean.

Super easy to install and has worked flawlessly. We installed a pair on the audio feed to our churches Lifestream. We felt the audio going out to the stream was a bit bass-heavy so this did the trick.

Gets rid of that annoying heavy bass. I use a pair on all the line level inputs to my power amps and headphone amps.
