This is a great family game for ages. We have four versions of this game. I wish they would introduce newer versions to the market, as I would certainly buy them. You can also re-gift this game so that others can enjoy the experience. BUY IT!

This is one of the most enjoyable trivia games I've ever played. The whole game is on the DVD (it even keeps the teams' scores), so no one has to mess around with playing pieces or a board. There are 3 games on each disc and in each game there are 8 "rounds." Here are how some of my favorite rounds work:ALBUM COVERS Bits and pieces of album covers come together, and you try to guess the recording artist. This is my favorite round, though I will admit that some of the albums they have here are a little obscure.TRIVIA MATCH-UP They replay 5 of the songs from the name-that-song round, along with their respective music videos. 6 trivia facts then appear. Teams try to match the trivia facts to the songs, but when you get one wrong, the other team gets a chance. My second-favorite round.MADE TO ORDER In this round, there's a theme (like "Celebrities in Coke ads") and 6 people's names, song titles, or events. The goal is to put them in the order depending on when they happened or how large the numbers are (it varies which, but they tell you ahead of time).LIGHTNING ROUND One by one, five words or phrases fly onto the screen, and the teams try to shout out what artist or band the words connect to. Each question is worth 3 points, compared to 1 & 2 points per question in the previous rounds, so if a team isn't doing well up to this point, this round can be a game-changer.FINAL BET This is the final round of the game. A category appears (like "Album sales" or "Celebrities & Concerts"), then each team is reminded of their score. In secret, using the remote control, each team bets some or all of their points on the question - if they get it right, they get that number of points added to their score, but, if not, they lose that number of points. Each team secretly gives their answer with the remote. Finally, they announce the final scores and gives you the option to play another game on the disc, or see the names and artists of all the things appearing in the disc (so if, in the lyrics round, you had no idea what the name of one of the songs was, here you can find out). Most of the questions are about music from the 70's, 80's, and 90's, but there are a few questions about music from earlier and slightly later. They market it as a party game, but it works fine with as few as 3 or 4 players (when we do it with 3, the music genius is on a team by himself). I found it at an audiovisual sale for $2, but I'd say it's worth up to about $15, or $5 per game. The only bummer is that there are only 3 games; the questions don't change. If we wait for a while after playing it, however, and replay the games, they're good as new - we remember few to none of the questions that appear. A great music trivia game for everyone!

Purchased it to replace a missing CD for my modified music class. I think it was great for its time but is now a little dated. Just the adults in the room recognized the songs or singers - none of my students.

Was exactly what I figured, needs to be more interactive. Arrived promptly. Nice packages, not worth the money. I am sorry I purchase it
