Although the part number on the bag was the correct Nutone number, the belt itself did not match the original. Specifically, the belt teeth were too shallow, and their spacing was too narrow. Consequently, the belt did not engage the brush roller drive gear. Instead, the belt rode over the top of it, making a loud screeching noise. And therefore, of course, it didn't turn the roller brush.I have no way of knowing whether or not the wrong belt was put in the package, or the vendor actually thinks this is the correct belt. It isn't. I found the Nutone factory part elsewhere. It arrived today, and is correct.
