Don't throw out your nailer because it just leaks air when you pull the trigger! This is what you need. Just make sure your nailer is one of the many listed, and within minutes, you'll be back up an running. So glad I found this.

I have a Dewalt D51257 16 gauge finish nailer that I've owned for many years. I haven't used it in a while and I went to nail some trim with. Pulling the trigger just release a hiss of air, and no nail. I removed the trigger valve and found several of its seals were rotten. I ordered this repair valve and it works perfectly! It's easy to install, taking me about 10 minutes. I removed the pin holding the trigger and the pins for the valve, and the old one comes straight out. Insert this one, replace the trigger and pins, and it's back to full power. This is a well-made repair part for your Dewalt finish nailer and I highly recommwnd it.
