Bought in September of 2024. Trigger mechanism went out in March of 2025. They sent postage to return it for repairs and sent it back. It arrived with the trigger mechanism not screwed in and the safety off. Hoping that I have no more issues since the warranty may be gone by then.

A very large, solid rifle. The.25 hits very hard, seems as destructive as a .22 rim fire but much quieter at a reasonable range. Stiff hard to cock as a powerful air rifle would be. Seems very accurate. Nice wood, cheap looking sights? But they work well.

Quality control issues or they are dumping sub par rifles on amazon for a cheaper price. May seem a small issue but becomes a problem whem mounting and zeroing scopes. First on I could not mount a scope with picatinny rings. The second one was even more skewed. The stock was beautiful and it was working. I attempted to get a second replcememt but amazon did not allow it.

I am a proud gun owner that won’t cross the threshold into pcp’s. At that point, I like gunpowder. BUT, I love me some nitro pistons for everything else!! I wanted a solid, well built, sling compatible (not all are) hunting gun for my small farm. Quiet, capable of ruining a 25lb groundhogs day or helping me knock out a rabbit for dinner. I have some great scoped guns but missed the open sights. Big Crossman 880 fan and that kept me satisfied on open sights until I met this thing. Great gun, well built, solid open sight. A bear to cock because of the power. Well worth 300$ to have a backyard bully taker outer.

The rifle was shipped to me and I think it is a very good and accurate gun. The problem is the adjustable trigger should have three adjusting screws but one was missing probably fell out or was not installed during assembly. I called Hatsan 4 times and left a message with support. " They NEVER called back “ so I still do not have the screw (maybe a $1 item) to complete the trigger adjustment.. Total absence of support!I called Amazon to file a complaint they provided me a link which I used to no avail so called amazon back and they gave me a $79.00 discount.Amazon gets 5 starsHatsan gets no stars

I generally only purchase things with synthetic stocks, as I have hyperhydrosis and this can make for some interesting interactions with other materials. However, with this particular gun I felt as if I did not have much choice. So, the first gun came with a completely cracked stock. Amazon made this good a lot quicker than I think a retailer would have, so this is a plus and did not detract at all from this rating.I planned to purely hunt critters with this gun, but when learning how to shoot it I found it more pleasurable... but MUCH more tiring to shoot than my smaller Diana 34. I almost exclusively use this gun now, and am nearly as accurate with it as I am with the 34. The 34 Panther is for bad weather situations only now, so I consider this a good purchase.

HATSAN 135 VORTEX QE .25 CALIBERTESTING PELLETS: "JSB Match Diabolo Exact King MKII Heavy .25 Cal, 33.95 Grains". These were decently accurate out of this gun, at 20 yards it gave me 5-shot groups between 0.5"- 1", HOWEVER I consistently had 1 flyer pretty much every group. This flyer would make the groups grow to 1.3"- 1.5" groups, whenever I had a flyer id just shoot another shot meaning I shot 6 pellets total resulting in 5 shots grouped together and the 1 flyer out to the side somewhere. After testing accuracy I tested velocity with my chronograph. These pellets had an average velocity of 610.8 FPS giving me 28.13 FPE. This is awesome power for hunting! HOWEVER due to the consistent flyers I will not be using these for hunting nor will I be purchasing the pellets again, Although to be honest 1.5" groups would probably be perfectly fine for anything you would hunt with these.- OVERALL QUALITY SUMMARY: This rifle is definitely VERY ACCURATE. It is long and it is heavy. Its made quite well with wood & german steel (not Chinese steel). The rifle sights are decent, they are plastic but they adjust well and are easy to achieve great accuracy with. The cocking effort is HEAVY, at first I had to set the butt on the ground and use both hands while standing up to cock it, it has gotten a little easier but you might struggle at first. This does NOT take anything away from the rifle though. The scope mount is nice, really glad they include a weaver rail along with the 11mm rail, USE THE WEAVER RAIL NOT THE 11MM. The recoil on this rifle is not that bad, you notice it but its not as big as some people have made it out to be. I have put a vortex crossfire II 3-9x50 and it has been fine so far. by the way there is no scope or rings included with this rifle as the description says.- ACCURACY: The rifle itself does show its capable of excellent accuracy, this depends more on your pellets, scope and how its mounted and most of all YOU. I will be testing more pellets with this soon.- NOISE LEVEL: This is pretty quiet as its not breaking the sound barrier however it will be heard. The loudest part is when those pellets hit the target. I shot 2x4 and wood backstops and when it hits its hitting very hard and it will be heard. Most likely wont bother neighbors but if they are outside they will know about it.- CONCLUSION: If you want to see more testing, hit the "helpful" button and leave me a comment so I know. The next pellets I will be testing are JSB Match Diabolo Exact King .25 Cal, 25.39 Grains, H&N Baracuda Hunter .25 Cal, 27.47 Grains, H&N Field Target Trophy Domed .25 Caliber 19.91 Grains, H&N Crow Magnum .25 Cal, 26.23 Grains. besides that, this rifle is very well made, wood & steel used is high quality, its very powerful, very accurate, and this is something you would definitely be happy with. Check out my review on the gamo raptor whisper .22 if you are interested in that gun. thanks for reading.

The build quality is fantastic. The gun is quite heavy and I'll need to work out a bunch before I can shoot accurately without a rest. It is quite accurate at 35-40 yards using Crow Magnum pellets, and delivers such a punch. The cocking effort is tremendous, and would be quite difficult for younger, smaller users, but it is totally worth the effort if you can manage it.I may have the scope mounted incorrectly since it seems that I need to zero in a bit every time I pull it out of the case, but that is not the fault of the rifle. It is an AR rated scope and should not have any wandering problems in and of itself.I have no doubt that this would drop a groundhog at 50+ yards, and take smaller game out much furthere.I would highly recommend this rifle.
