Don’t buy this unless you’re looking for an RGB cheap laptop stand cause the fans barely work. I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to make the chord a USB-A to USB-A for power but nobody uses that type of chord and it definitely doesn’t supply enough power! This thing is cheap flimsy the fans barely run on max speed. It’s loud cheaply made and poorly designed.

I have purchased HAVIT products in the past (in particular, the HV-F2056). So this is not a comment about all HAVIT products. But this specific model's right lower fan started making intermittent noises within the first month.I would not recommend this model, especially if you need quiet cooling and you use your laptop heavily.

I got this cooling pad after my previous Klim pad gave up the ghost. The 6 fans seem to be doing a good job of cooling. I can feel the cool air even all around the laptop itself. The pad is about 1" too wide on each side but of course there's no way to adjust for a smaller-sized laptop of the 13"-17" fit. There was absolutely no "set-up" involved with this, as it required only plugging in the USB cable to the pad and the laptop. I give this pad only 3 stars because of a feature that is turning out to be annoying. There are "baffles" on the pad to help keep the laptop in place when the pad is tilted. They're annoying! They stick up enough that as you type, your wrists are in such a position that they rest right on top of the baffles and the plastic has a rough edge and your wrists will get scratched. Yes, the baffles can be moved back down, but that defeats the purpose when the pad is tilted. Had I not tossed the box already, I would return this.UPDATE: the pad worked fine for a few weeks but has since started to be very noisy! One or two of the fans, which had previously run quietly, have started an annoying grinding, whirring sound. This started out of the blue when the laptop was just sitting on the pad undisturbed. The sound is loud enough to be disturbing when talking or watching TV. I have changed my 3 star review to one.

I bought this for my 16" Dell Inspiron with a Ryzen 5. During even modest gaming, I was running in the mid to high 90s on Core Temp without a cooler. Now that I'm using this, it rarely gets much over 60 even in more intense sessions. During easier use I'm hovering around the high 40s. Better temps should extend the life of the hardware, and that's well worth it at such a reasonable price.It's not loud, and it seems very dependable. I'm thrilled with it, and wish I'd gotten it sooner.

This product really works well when helping to keep my laptop cool.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that when moving the board, the fans seem to get out of balance and can be very noisy for 10 to 15 minutes.I wonder if slightly sturdier plastic would help them stay in place better.Eventually, they settle back into place and it is very quiet again.

It started making an annoying and loud sound after a bit of useable, we even looked inside and took it apart. The fans are out of sync it seems, yet it goes away after 5 minutes of use.
