Very cool albeit very lightweight plane. If you can find a large clear area (parks with grass work best) on a day where there is little or no wind this thing is a blast to fly. I have crashed it a few times and no major damage which is reassuring. The look of the plane is also very cool and the box art is well done, this would make a great gift to anyone trying to get into the hobby!

We have had this out at our local park a few times with the kids and it's a lot of fun. Battery lasts a decent amount of time and comes with two to extend duration. This is made of thay hard styrofoam which is obviously light weight but can break easily. It is reinforced with a bit of a skeleton set of thing metal tube's to keep it operating correctly and provide it some weight at the same time. This is definitely not a plane I expect to last a long time, but as long as we take care of it, I do feel like we will get a season or two out of it. Flying the plane is fairly simple with the gaming type controller it comes with that does what it needs to do. I like that the left knob allows me to lock in the speed up or down without having to continually press it as it holds in position vertically. All things considered, fun toy for all ages but definitely requires adult help throughout the process.

Complete set and a nice starting point for beginners. Youโre not going to get phenomenal performance, and the styrofoam is not going to be in one piece for long, but it gets one comfortable with controls and reacting to breezes!Might be worthwhile to have some styrofoam repair kit items to extend the play/practice time with, unfortunately events during landing or heavy wind gusts!Very fun toy at a reasonable price for the kit to get a feel for the hobby.

When I was a kid I really wanted an RC plane. They were very expensive (and still are) for entry level investment. I feel like this checks all the boxes of a low cost of entry with really good build quality for the price. If you're looking for an entry into the hobby with a low entry level cost I would give this a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Out of the box, the plane was mostly assembled. I just had to attach the wing and the landing gear, which took all of about ten minutes with the included screws. The battery charged in a reasonable amount of time, and the initial pairing with the remote was straightforward. For a first-timer, the self-stabilization mode really does help keep it level in the air; it took some getting used to the controls, but it wasn't overly sensitive. My step-daughter had a go with it too, and she picked up the basics pretty quickly in the stable mode. The plane has taken a couple of minor bumps on landing, and the foam body has held up without any cracks. The brushless motor provides decent power for getting it airborne, even in a bit of wind. The different flight modes offer a clear progression as you get more comfortable with the controls.

Being a part time plane/drone hobby guy for 30 years I was impressed by the quality of this plane it was well formed and the gyro system/radio gear was very good, the brush-less motor was decent. I was disappointed when I opened the box to find no instruction manual and a third battery. Immediately I thought I had a previously returned item but as it was almost Christmas and the plane was for my son I wrapped it up and hoped for the best... When it was unboxed we had a closer look and realized the rudder would not line up straight even with full trim, so I crimped the push rod a little to correct this, after pre flight checks were made we went for a flight over a 3 acre paddock where we usually fly... after 7-8 minutes we were very impressed on mode c without the gyros on we could perform various stunts and were having a great time... then disaster, there was a breeze but nothing we couldn't handle even with a 2 channel plane but all of a sudden the radio gear lost control except for throttle and rudder so we spent the next 20 mins or fighting to bring it down. Sadly we failed and the plane went so high on the wind it must have landed a few miles away. so lost on Christmas eve :( I should have returned it for an unused/returned item, if I had I think we would have really enjoyed this addition to our collection for years!! highly recommend just make sure you receive what you paid for... I'll probably buy another!

The HAWK'S WORK 4 Channel Cessna RC Plane is decent for those wishing to get into RC planes. It is mainly made from Styrofoam making this extremely light weight, so I would be a little wary of flying in stronger winds. Coming from a drone background I thought this would be pretty simply to fly, but it was a little more of a challenge than I thought. It took me a little bit to get the hang of simple flight and it will take me a lot more to get to a point where I am fully comfortable in flying. Im not sure if it was just me but I did find that the controls seemed a little sluggish but maybe thatโs just because it is geared to beginners. The plane has a brushless motor which is a great bonus and comes with 2 batteries which will give longer flight times. The downside is that the styrofoam is pretty easy to damage and mine has already suffered from a couple of indentations. A friend told me to use tape for repairs to keep the original shape and not throw out the weight balance too much.

I like to pride myself on being able to fly anything, even reversed control surfaces, but I could not get this plane to respond to control inputs in flight. I would check all of my control surfaces on the ground, manually trimmed everything, ensured wing was centered and level with horizontal stabilizer, but everytime it would get into nice level flight, but the aileron and ruder failed to turn the plane, even when head height and at a fairly short distance. My transmitters are all Spektrum, and ELRS or I would try the plane with my own transmitter. I'm giving this 3 stars because it's still a great bind and fly for the money, even if you have to use your own controller.

I am very disappointed with the HAWK'S WORK 4 Channel Radio Controlled Airplane. The Sales Price Plus the Classic Cessna design looks Great, The Electric Motor and Controller look quite capable, that is the end of the good stuff. The Poor Qualities of the Flight Controller are at the heart of the problem. In the many tries to fly the airplane it seems the maximum control distance is about seventy-five feet, maybe less before it looses the radio signal and dives for the ground. I own over fifty similar Airplanes, not a single one has these types of issues. The Manual Travel Inputs on the Radio Controlled surfaces is a couple of Millimeters at best, the flight controller on the other hand has the ability to move them to the extreme limits - making flying this Airplane all but impossible.Hopefully Hawks Work will correct these issue in the future, for now I would avoid this product and look for similar products that feature XPilot or another proven flight controller, especially for the Beginner RC Pilot.I gave the HAWK'S WORK 4 Channel Radio Controlled Airplane a full Two Stars Across the Board. The Airplane is designed really well, the Foam is Durable, The Electric Motor and Servos are Capable and reliable. The Radio Control & Flight Controller are Sub-Standard taking out the remaining three Stars.
