I followed a YouTube video that showed me how to take apart my MacBook and swap out the old trackpad for this new one. It took me about an hour but I think someone with a little more experience could do it faster. The new trackpad came with a cable which some vendors don't include so everything I needed in one package. Once I had it installed I turned on my laptop, and the trackpad worked like a charm. It’s smooth and responsive just like it was when the laptop was brand new. I can scroll through my web pages and zoom in on pictures without any problems. The clicking is satisfying too. One thing I really liked about this replacement trackpad is that it feels sturdy. Some replacements can feel cheap but this one seems built to last. I’ve been using it every day and it still feels just as good as when I first put it in. The price was also reasonable. It has to be the best option for a MacBook Air without breaking the bank with a repair store plus it saved me from having to spend a lot on a new laptop. This is worthy of the macbook and should last a long time.
