This timer will not switch on the unit for whatever reason internally. This is also the second switch from this seller that was bad. The first switch was obviously broke right out of the bag so I returned it and the company sent me another which again was also broke. Just tried to return it again but the company wouldn’t allow me to return it. I’m heading to my local pool company for a new one. Don’t buy from this company because you’ll be throwing money away.

The timer on my Hayward pool pump/solar controller started randomly running very erratic and slow. This timer is for a Hayward chlorinator however it is the same timer for the Hayward pump/solar controller. It took about 20 minutes to install, and works perfectly. It has been working great now for the past four months. Be sure to turn the power off before you replace it.

It is a good product and installs very easily. The switch to turn on is slightly different but the timer works fine.
