I was checking something on my deck and realized my pool pump was running but my heater was not. I'm going to provide the back story because another review helped me to solve my problem and I hope this will help somebody else. When I would turn the heater on -it would act like it was starting, the fan would blow but you would not get the clicking sound you usually get when a gas furnace starts and then it would just shut off. I did some searches and came across one that said you need a new mother board and I purchased this one. It came within a couple days. Seemed simple to install - removed it from the bezel (which had worn and allowed water to get to the old one - also replaced during this process) plugged in a couple of items and thought we are all set. Turned on the heater - nothing! No fan blowing! Nothing. I then went into problem solving mode with a couple of helpers. We tried checking the breakers, cleaning off the ignition and were about to quit when we checked a few of the fuses and sure enough there was a blown one. Why? Because while we were trying to troubleshoot this - we realized that the clip on the motherboard can be plugged in both ways. And as I was frantically googling it - I came across a video that said - make sure you plug it the correct way - So, yes - when I plugged it in the first time - I blew a fuse. Replaced the fuse. plugged it in the correct way and the furnace fired right up!!

This is the display board under the keypad and then ribbon cables to the ICB (Ignition control board). I replaced all 3 items when I had the error code (CE). My display pad was dried and cracked also. After replacing all 3 my heater works fine.

Coupled with the integrated control board, heater is now as good as new. Easy to install.Saved us a bundle of money. Heating company wanted to either sell us a whole new heater or repair this one for $1200.00.Pool company would sell us parts only for $800.00.We are extremely happy. Both products were very easy to install.Service from Amazon was excellent.

Worked great - other than a few screws, it was basically a "plug-n-play" design for easy installation.

I live in Az and I guess the heat and exposure eventually fried the touch pad control.Replaced the touch pad and that didn't fix the problem. Bought this board which mounts to the back of the touch pad and everything is working well now. Have heard if the touch pad stops working, typically both the touch pad and circuit board should be replaced, as was the case for me.I took a piece of heavy vinyl shelf liner material and punched holes in it to match the upper two mounting hole of the touch pad (positioned between touch pad and body of pool heater). The vinyl then flops over and covers the touch pad to keep it shaded from the sun and rain.Otherwise the board was a great value, pretty easy to do myself, and worked.

worked out great, The original Display and button controls were faided and not working, originally bought the replacement plastic peice but found that was not the issue. I installed this into the new plastic control part in about 5 minuts (its about 8 screws and one easily swappable wire). i wish i didnt have to replace the original so quickly, but otherwise a great replacement board. i do notice that the temp is off a bit now, but its not a huge deal `

When the controls on the pool heater started acting up, it was clear that I needed some help. I couldn't get up past 78 degrees. It was as if the keypad was stuck on 78. Press the up button, nada. After talking to the local pool supply company, it was determined that it probably was this display board. Well, it wasn't, but after installing it, I decided to keep it anyway because the original was rusty and gunky.Next I got Hayward FDXLBKP1930 Bezel and Keypad Assembly Replacement Kit for Hayward Universal H-Series Low Nox Pool Heater here on Amazon, and that did the trick.Even with both purchases, it was cheaper than having a pool person come out!

I had an error on my H400 Hayward heater with the service light flashing and 111 flashing on the display. I called Hayward and they said they had never heard of this error. It is also not listed in the manual. I took out the display board and tested all the components (caps, resisters, etc.). I couldn't find anything wrong. After thinking about i , I decided something was wrong with the ICP chip on the board. So I ordered this replacement board and it fixed the problem. Now the display is working again, but I have an LO error on the control board to contend with.It is always something with these heaters and the repairs are never cheap. UGH.Hope this helps.
