The Hazet Water Pump Pliers have an elegantly simple one handed button for making adjustments. I own multiple brands and sizes of water pump pliers and reach for these when my Knipex self adjusting pliers won’t work. Great design and very well built. I am right handed but they also make a left handed design.

the adjustment button is not as versatile like the knipex quickset. The plastic handle part smelly like weird. I would rather get the knipex quickset than this one.

Expensive but worth it. I have the same tool I bought 2 years ago and use everyday. It still bites into stainless fittings that a new Milwaukee pair just slide on. The skinny jaws help take fittings apart where you normally wouldnt have enough room to get 2 wrenches onto.

少々重い点を除けば完璧です。他に日本製のものやKNIPEX、Channellock等のウォーターポンププライヤーも使っていますが、本品の出番が一番多いです。海外のレビューサイトでも、しっかりと水平に固定されたパイプに、プライヤーを咥えさせ、柄の部分に体重をかけても、ほとんど動かないという動画が紹介されていました。そのグリップ力は素晴らしいです。KNIPEXと同様に、ボタンを押してロックを解除するのですが、HAZETの場合この解除ボタンが、親指付近まで延長されているので、本体を握ったままギャップを変えることが出来ます。慣れてくると、本体を水平に持ち、ロック解除ボタンを押しながら左右に軽くシェイクするだけで瞬時に好みのスパンにセット出来ます。この素早さは、他のプライヤーでは味わえません。しかも、嬉しいことに左利き用のモデルもあるみたいなので、いつか手に入れたいと思っています。価格は少々張りますが、満足できる商品だと思います。
