We needed a heavier duty step-stool for our shop.We have higher shelves and require two ladder sizes: Obviously we need a full-sized ladder but a smaller step stool is also extremely necessary. This is perfect.3 steps get you just a little higher, which makes a big difference when you need that extra step up.The ladder has a body-brace with a padded rail that doubles as a carrying handle. The ladder is hefty but not heavy--it's like a good ripe fruit, heavy for it's size. It's simply not bulky enough to problematic. Very compact and easy to store.I desperately want to throw this into my painting kit, so maybe I'll order another :)Has a locking mechanism so the top step clips the ladder into position, with a small yellow handle that unlatches everything.Overbuilt and sturdy!A+++

So, right off the bat, the 500lb capacity is a joke. I mean, could it withstand 500 lbs without collapsing, maybe, but my 200 lbs were enough to cause the steps to creak and bend. Just looking at it or picking it up, this seems like a very sturdy, highly capable step ladder, but stepping up on it is slightly frightening for me. Besides the plastic steps though, this step ladder seems pretty great! Everything else is solid and top-notch, and if the steps ever do wear out, I'll be replacing them with wooden or metal steps. I would say that the steps are a bit steep, but that's probably because I'm used to my old step ladder, which was

this folds and unfolds quite easily, but doesnt simply fall open/shut, gotta slightly push (great, dont want it flimsy at all). it has a cool little lock/latch feature, and great grip/tread on the steps. held different weights of family members and never ever did it feel wobbly. great step ladder!

We have tall ceilings all over the house and it is a real pain to get to high shelves and to replace bulb. This ladder is surprisingly sturdy and stable. We compared it side by side with our more expensive aluminum Costco step ladder and it is equal in every way as far as step heights and stability. I am 225# and have no problem standing on the top rung and reaching for things, it is totally stable. Great value.

I have two step ledders at home, but they are too big and heavy. I found this on Amazon. The shipping was fast. I used it right after I received it. I didn't expect it to be so light and can bear the weight of $500. The material is very good, it is easy to fold, and it doesn't take up space. The key is that the price is worth it. I feel that it can be used for more than 20 years.

Pretty good! I only have a 3 small criticisms.First of all, it's definitely heavy-duty. I feel I can trust my weight on it and it feels very sturdy and stable. It appears exactly as described and photographed. I didn't feel misled on any detail about it.I live in an apartment with very high shelves or lighting in all 3 main areas: the kitchen, living room, and even my bathroom. I could never fully dust and clean or even access some of the most awkward high shelving. All these high shelves are fantastic for storage of infrequently used but still important items e.g. air purifier filter refills, bulk toilet paper buys etc. However, I'm short. I dreaded the day a light bulb would require a change-out. I've been needing a stepladder in the wings! So this will do the job wonderfully. It also folds up absolutely perfectly next to my shoe rack in my entryway closet. Couldn't be more pleased that it was a perfect fit in there! It looks like it'll be very easy to wipe clean should anything dirty, wet, or whatever gets stuck on it.The only bones I have to pick are:1.) You have to use a bit of force to open it up from a folded up position. I actually felt stumped on my first try. I also was surprised at how stiff it was to even lock it in place with the yellow plastic bit. It all takes a bit of muscling.2.) It's slightly heavier and larger than expected. I wouldn't try carrying anything else at the same time.3.) The handle is covered in what feels like a nice squishy material for comfort. However, I question the durability of this material with prolonged use. If you're aiming for heavy project work with it, I can see this part wearing and tearing and finally falling apart pretty quickly. For me at least, it'll probably last awhile since I'll use it sparingly in my current home. Feels nice! Just not sure how this particular feature will hold up.Altogether, nothing to discourage a buyer. I'm happy to have it stowed away and yet ready for use whenever the occasion calls. No more unsteady balancing on my wheel-y office chair; that was always an ER visit waiting to happen!

This s a very nice ladder. Already used. Much more sturdy and steady than some other ladders I've use. Also fold very easily with the press of the yellow button like thing. Good ladder. Thanks Amazon

This is a very sturdy 3 Step Ladder. The best part about this ladder is that it comes fully assembled. I also really like anti-slip design of the pedals and the feet. When the step ladder is not in use, it is very easy to store as well.
