Plug the relay in and I got my fourth speed on my fan dude, what's nice is the little led came on and let me know that I had power and everything was working properly.

Not an exact fit within the 12177233 GM Relay socket’s alignment slots, but the pins are an exact match. With a small hand chisel I was able to quickly remove the misaligned guides from the new relay. Lightly greased it up with the included dielectric grease and installed it. It immediately cleared all faults on first power up. No more ‘pull key & count to ten’ or ‘service column lock’ errors. And with a 50A capacity, compared to the factory 30A capacity; it should easily last at least another 17 years. This relay costs 5-10x less than the bypasses and does not change any safety circuitry. It also requires less work in the exact same upside down cramped space. I’m going to give it a 9 out of 10 only due to the alignment rails not lining up with the factory socket. Otherwise, it’s a 10 out of 10 home run! And the indicator light is an invaluable diagnostic indicator of the condition of the signal feeding the coil. It worked SO well that I just couldn’t believe my lying eyes and had to drive it around to make sure it really would go over 2mph again! XX0 MPH later I can attest that it indeed… does.
