Replaced the left side on a deere 185 hydro and mowed once. it's working good so far. The hard part of the job is getting the old one off. I ended up having to take the whole part off and put it In a vise to get it off. One cristism it should really come with a nut so you dont have to reuse the old one.

I had bought a GT Switch drag link for my JD GT275 about 3 years ago and it fit perfectly. Recently the front ball joint separated, so I bought this replacement ball joint assembly. The new assembly fit the old link fine, but the shaft on the ball joint end was very long. It interfered with the axle trying to steer right. I ended up cutting about a quarter inch off the shaft with a reciprocating saw. It wasn't easy considering the size of the shaft and the fact it's chrome moly steel. After that it was fine.

Fit my John Deere 160 from 1988 and installed relatively easily. Breaking loose the original lock nut was really the hardest part of the job.
