The switch itself is a good replacement for the original in my Cub Cadet.The only problem I had was that the retainer nut would strip out nowhere near tight.I ended up putting a shim underneath so the nut was on a different area of the threads and then I was very cautious not to tighten too much.The end result was short of snug.It was tight enough so that the whole switch didn't turn when turning the key.But only barely.
