This device is intended for use with CCIR cable systems and the channel assignments are set for that system. While it is advertised for VHF/UHF TV it is actually cable channels. If you want to use with a cable system, this will override several of your cable channels as other have pointed out. It will not work at all with standard TV channels. Some of the channels actually will interfere with other non-TV services like ham radio. Some of the channels are on US frequencies but are not marked as such. For instance, the modulator Channel 17 is actually US TV channel 8 but it will interfere with US TV channel 7 and has interference on at least five other channels.

the good feature of this product is multitype input interface, include HDMI and AV. However RF output Signal power is very weak. I just receive very weak and noisy signal when two antenna (TX and RX) were very close together I tried with coaxial cable. and connect the RF output to a TV, it received video and audio but not with a good quality

When initially receiving it came damaged with switch broken off. Didn’t seem to need it to get it to work so I let that slide but a few days later it went green screen. Could get sound but to get video back would have to unplug and replug HDMI cable.The quality is much better then the previous box we had and for that reason I will continue to use.

This worked perfectly for me with one big exception, which for me is a dealbreaker: the aspect ratio of the picture it outputs.I wanted to use this with a VCR that outputs a signal with a 4:3, fullscreen aspect ratio. The unit is set up to deliver a 16:9, widescreen signal, which means that everything on my VCR picture is squashed vertically, and there are no settings on it to adjust that. For that reason, I need to return it.I'm guessing in most modern use cases the unit will work great for people. But for me it won't and the fixed aspect ratio is definitely something that should be listed in the product specs.

After hooking up, I could get my security cameras on my TV but then I would lose 5 channels. Unplug it and they would come back. The whole top of the unit was missing the labels so you knew what connection was what. I had to look at the picture in the instructions to figure it out. A big lack of quality control..... The seller did not want to refund or replace. Asked me to take to somebody near me to repair..... Amazon took care of me though....

Works well right out of the box set to channel good to go has good video and audio transmission recommend.
