it works really great, I use it to split my signal to an audio amp with Atmos and another to my oled as earc was not an option for me due to missing features on my receiver, this took care of that and works really great, all the features mentioned that I tried worked. The body is made of aluminum and is well-built.

I needed to provide for multiple external HDMI displays in a way that the host computer is "unaware" of them.This solved my problem! My presentation software had a nasty change some time back where it reaches under the logical display configuration (both Windows and Mac), and sees the physical HDMI displays coming from the computer.It then chose (without the ability for me to control) where the presenter display was going to show. I am now using this device to hide the multiple displays from the presentation software and computer so I once again have full control over where the main and presenter displays will go!This device has great flexibility and allows you to extract audio by either the 1/8" jack or SPIDF.The dip switches are also a nice touch. I don't like to leave the output format to chance, and the dip switch configuration guarantees that the output is what I want!
