This product was to line a fish tank in the garage to overwinter fish. It is very very thin.

This is a Nice basic liner but not very thick. It’s basically blue plastic equivalent to two mill plastic that you buy at Home Depot. If you were using it in the bottom of a pond,I would double it up or go with a real heavy rubber liner if you’re going to have anything sharp inside of your pond. This is similar to the two mill plastic you buy at Home Depot and can be punctured with sharp objects. It worked for my project.

This is a very thin plastic sheet. It's blue alright, but very similar to the regular plastic sheets found in the painting departments in Ace hardware, Walmart and Homedepot. If you want to spend $49 on this, then save money and spend $39 for the white-clear plastic ones. Super thin. I don't know why they even say it is suitable for outdoor ponds.
