Taste so bad. Something was very wrong with the tea. Not sure what went wrong but the product was corrupted in some matter.

Good color, fragrance and taste. I enjoy it and will repurchase it again.

This is a lovely oolong tea - very floral, almost like jasmine tea! I used a tea ball for my first cup and it worked well, but it really produced a great cup of tea when I allowed the leaves to steep directly in the water and then strained. I am sure the higher grade of this tea would be even more well balanced and rounded in flavor, but I thoroughly enjoyed this tea and it is one of the nicest oolong teas I have ever enjoyed. This is the stressful season of my job and this is a great alternative to coffee for me - enough caffeine to keep me going, but not so much that my heart starts beating through my chest when I am otherwise stressed! A great up of tea to wake up to!

I enjoy trying new kinds of tea and generally like oolong teas, so when I got a chance to try HEACHI's Oolong Tea (TieGuanYin), I was pleased, but surprised. Other oolong I have had has been closer to a black tea, while this one is considerably light, more like green. This loose leaf tea came in a nice box, and even included a clip to keep the inside bag of tea fresh, which was a nice addition.I originally tasted the tea plain, later adding milk and sugar, and have subsequently only added a little bit of honey. It is light and refreshing, but gets bitter if you leave it to steep for too long. Overall pleasant, and I will definitely continue to enjoy (and share) this tea, but for the price of this higher grade tea, I probably wouldn't buy it. It's not bad, but there are less expensive options that I enjoy equally well.

This Oolong Tea arrives in an attractive metal canister than can easily be re-used to store tea or repurposed for other items. The tea is sealed in a bag and comes with a plastic clip that lets you get an air-tight seal to keep the flavor and freshness of the tea longer. The flavor is great when brewed as instructed, with a pleasant roasted bitterness and a very slight astringency. The tea is perfect alone or paired with a splash of milk and some honey. Adding sweetness brings out the earthy and chocolatey roasted notes, while adding milk seems to cut some of the bitter flavors that newer tea drinkers may not enjoy as much.Overall, this is a delicious and easily giftable tea perfect to enjoy all year, but particularly nice on chilly fall/winter mornings.

I'm a tea nerd, so I jumped on the chance to try this oolong. I prepared it according to the directions on the side of the package & it came out just perfect. This isn't as oxidized as some other oolong, so it had a light, savory, green flavor which I enjoyed. The leaves are tightly rolled in the package, and they unfurl to much longer leaves during steeping. I used a small bottom dispensing brewer & with the way the tea expanded, I highly recommend that one follow the given instructions so as not to overload your vessel. It will appear to be a very small amount of tea after weighing, but trust me, you don't need more. This tea arrives in a sealed bag inside of a lovely airtight tin, so there's no way for the tea to be damaged by moisture or light. A clip for the bag came with it, but it didn't fit this particular bag well in my opinion. I wouldn't store my tea that way anyway, so it'll be used for something else. All in all, I really liked this tea & would buy it again.

I have loved Oolong tea going back to the free bottomless pots they would serve you at the Chinese restaurants back when I was much younger and Oolong tea was kind of exotic. Lately, I have been sampling a variety of high end Oolong tea and it’s a pretty far cry from the inexpensive tea bags the restaurant was happy to sell me for a couple bucks in a box of 100. This tea looks like I would expect - rolled greenish pellets that unfurl into pretty leaves in the hot water. I brewed for 5 minutes - a little longer than the label recommended, but I don’t mind a stronger, slightly more bitter tea and brew black, green, and oolong all for 5 minutes. The fragrance was surprisingly more floral than the earthy scent I am used to. It almost reminded me of jasmine tea. The color is light as is the taste - I get a bit more earthiness but also the floral and a bit of bitterness. I did look everywhere for an explanation of how this Grade B was different from Grade A, but couldn’t find anything, even on the oracle of Google. The tea comes in a sealed foil bag inside an attractive tin. Definitely giftable.

This is a good value tieguanyin. It's "B grade", but still good quality and better than the majority of tieguanyin from Western brands. The picking is good - intact leaves, very little stems. The leaves are large and firm, but this is typical for this type of oolong. The aroma is fruity and clean; it has that distinctive taste of tieguanyin although a bit less sweetness and fruitiness than some higher grades, as well as more astringency. The tin it comes in is absolutely beautiful. This would make a great gift, but I would splurge on the Grade A one.Overall - good budget TieGuanYin. Not sure I would opt for this over a bulk certified organic one, but certainly would try out the Grade A.
