The hardware is not the correct thread and fit is not right. I actually had to run out and get the correct hardware. Being that it’s priced right I was willing to make it work.

Its not rocket science to figure out but there are no directions. None of the hardware supplied actually had the correct thread pitch as my Nightster and most went unused.For the Sportster:Pop out the half dollar sized blank on top of the current headlight cover. Screw the large coupler on it. Youll get a thread or so cause its not course threading. Remove the two Alan bolts holding the headlight bracket on. Place the provided bracket over the holes of the bolts you just removed and screw the bolts back in. For the center, use that rubber stopper looking thing to scree the bracket onto the coupler you placed earlier. Using your hand, slide the small scree in the center hole for the fairing. Use a scree driver for the sides. You'll have left over hardware. Looks great though. Glossy black matches my bike
