This will only charge or use the aux connection at a time. It will not do both at the same time. Would NOT recommend. Worthless and wasted money. I cannot use this in my car because when plugged in to charge, the aux will not work so I can hear music or directions when traveling.No stars on this review but had to put 1 star.

I just received and tested this device. It was exactly what I needed. It allows me to use my wired earbuds (with microphone) with my iPhone 16 for phone calls, and I can charge the phone while I'm using the earbuds. The description wasn't very clear on whether my TRRS earbuds would work for telephone calls, but they work just fine.

It's a good product. It works well without affecting the volume or quality of sound. The only downside is that the volume control on Apple headphones won't work. But I still recommend the product.
