This was a great purchase it keeps the flame lower and pushes the heat out wonderfully

Doesn’t deflect heat enough to be a difference maker. When it burns it leaves all black soot so your hands get filthy when you mess with it. It’s just ok. To be fair I don’t think you’ll see much of a difference with a heat deflector unless you have a much larger fire.

This works ok to spread heat to the sides of my Solo Stove Mesa. It seems to be made of the same high quality stainless steel and was a good value compared to other heat deflectors. It is not very easy to assemble and I bent to ring on my mesa trying to get it together.

I was looking for a heat deflector for my stove so it keeps the area warm during the cold months . I found this defector and decided to give it a try. It comes with the deflector shield and 3 snap on legs . This requires you use and dedicate the ring that comes with the stove to the heat deflector shield. I think they should have included one so I don't have to disassemble the heat deflector shield if I wanna just use the stove with out the shield , heat output was ok and seemed to do the job. Materials are ok too , it works but think the ring should have been supplied

Because the legs are flexible, works with a range of stoves, including 7x5.8 AmazStove.like:- flexible compatibility- quality materials; seems like real stainless steel- works! throws more heatdislike:- finishing is pretty rough, "unfinished" is probably the materials term-of-artvalue: Weird! I would have said "terrible" before cost-comparing, and all versions of this are roughly the same cost of more. On the one hand it's a few pieces of unfinished metal for thirty bucks. On the other, that's what they seem to go for. Perhaps this is an example of an item that'll come down in price the initial manufacturer's margin-grab period is over. I'd think twice about spending north of $30 for any version of this.in sum: If you have the stove, need a little more heat and don't mind the cost, go for it. Qualified recommend.
