Great for skiing, cycling, hunting, snowshoeing, and more, Heat Factory’s gloves with Pop Top Mittens makes frozen fingers a thing of the past. The fold-back mitten cap has a specially-designed pocket that holds Heat Factory air activated Hand Warmers over the fingers, providing additional warmth on the coldest days. Each pair of gloves comes with one pair of Heat Factory Hand Warmers that provides up to 10 hours of continuous long-lasting heat (additional warmers are sold separately). Quiet magnets sewn into the top of the glove hold the mitten cap back and out of the way when dexterity is needed. When the mitten cap is pulled away, the inner liner of the glove remains in place to provide continued warmth and protection to your fingers. An elastic cuff at the bottom of the glove is designed to keep wind and snow out of the mitten and away from your hands. The rubberized palm grip allows you to hold items with confidence and ease. This combination of a time-tested design and Heat Factory warmer technology gives you protection and warmth in any condition. Heat Factory's air activated hand warmers, body warmers, toe warmers, and heated accessories have been providing warmth and pain relief to outdoor enthusiasts for the past 30 years.

Even with hot hands in them not for real good for Wisconsin weather. Not for work use…

First, let me start off by saying I have Raynaud's Disease, which means I need much warmer gloves at much warmer temperatures than any normal person. Simply put I own Gortex gloves, Thinsulate gloves and the like, and they do not help much at all.Short version: Today I tested these gives at 15F. They were awesome. I have been using them for weeks now, but today was the coldest I have tried them in.I wear these while running. Today, for example, I was running into a steady wind, it was snowing, and the weather people tell me it was 15F. By using these gloves with 1 Hot Hand in each, I was able to stay out for hours without any issues. To compare, because of my Raynaud's, 40 degrees is too cold for me to be in for more than a few minutes. Here are the important points:PROs--Comfortable--Heated by Hot Hands or similar product--Finger glove/mitten switching helps regulate temperature--Magnet to hold back mitten works well--Finger material is thin enough to allow functionCONs:--Not touch screen (but that is easily fixable)--If you do not hold the fingers when you pull them off, they will turn inside out, every time--While the magnet holds back the mitten well when the Hot Hand is in it, it is a big floppy thing--They are not waterproofAnother reviewer mentioned the Hot Hands falling out of the glove. They must have a defective glove, or they are using much smaller Hot Hands (Hot Fingers?) as I have not had this problem at all. No matter how much I shake the gloves, the Hot Hands do not come out.

I bought these gloves for a February birdwatching trip to the Duluth, Minnesota area. I already had two pair of allegedly good winter gloves, neither of which prevent my fingers from becoming achingly cold in weather below 20 Fahrenheit, and I was desperate for a solution that would work better and still let me operate binoculars and a camera in much harsher conditions. These did the job, somewhat to my surprise. Temperatures were in the -12 to +10 Fahrenheit range the whole time, but I never experienced painfully cold fingers. When my fingers did start to feel chilly, flipping down the mitten tops (with handwarmers installed) took care of the problem. I really like that having the warmer pocket in the mitten places the heat source against the fingers; I've tried tucking handwarmers into the palm of a regular glove, and it's nowhere near as effective. One thing I don't know is how much difference wind would make, since I've only tried them in light winds so far.The glove material is surprisingly thin and fleecy, and the imitation-leather palm is plastic-y, so I'm not sure how well they will wear, but they actually kept my fingers warm, which is the main thing, and are not that expensive if they need to be replaced.

I like the gloves a lot. The magnet flap is a nice addition. Makes no sound when opening the mitten. My only complaint is the finger gloves seem longer than the glove itself. Possibly I should have purchase Large vs Extra-Large? Not their fault, probably mine. The added compartment for the Hot Hand pads is extremely nice! They are NOT waterproof so if it's raining or if you know your a bad shot and may run outta shells, don't plan to start rolling up snow-balls to throw at the deer for a finishing blow. Your hands will surely get cold and wet.Good stuff, recommend!

I've owned these for a couple of months now so have experience with them. I was concerned with their clever convertible design: would it keep me warm and would it really work? The answer - after 2 months of 28 degree weather - is "yes, they work really well". The mitten does a good job of keeping warm. The "warmer" pouch isn't really needed: I just kept a warmer *inside* the glove to warm my fingers better, but the pouch works OK if that's what you want. The "convertible" part works great: there's a little magnet on the mitten part so when you fold it back, it clings to another magnet on the back of the hand and it stays put: doesn't flop around or get in the way. And in "glove" mode, it gives very-good flexibility and access to finger functions. I was able to run my camera thru the gloves. Bottom line: clever design and it actually works.

I bought these last winter to wear to outdoor sporting events. They worked great, and the hand-warmer packets fit into the mitten area just as advertised. My hands stayed toasty warm. Then the seams started coming apart in the fingers. Now my fingers get cold whenever I pull the mittens back. I don't like wearing torn up gloves anyway, so these have been relegated to the 'work gloves' bin. Shame, because these were pretty nice while they lasted.
